If you have not yet heard of SSENSE, then you’re in the right place. It’s a fashion platform that specializes in selling a variety of products from independent, streetwear and luxury designers as well as providing an SSENSE’s editorial for viewers’ information, education, and entertainment. 1. It was founded by three brothers

Rami Atallah, Bassel Atallah, and Firas Attalah are the names of the now famous brothers who first founded the fashion selling platform. They offer interesting points of view that intrigue and inform their fans and customers. They first established the business in 2003 with the headquarters located in Montreal, Canada.

2. SSENSE has no insane drive for profits

One of the most unique aspects of the highly successful platform is that they’re not trying to drive their profits through a maniacal advertising campaign, a board of directors pushing them or a need to become the next business to be recognized in public trading. It’s all about low key fashion in all its purity. As one of the brothers put it, it’s about the death of ego in fashion sales.

3. Fashion is removed as an identity marker

This is perhaps the most revolutionary concept that has been implemented in actual practice in the fashion industry. SSENSE promotes dressing fashionably without ascribing a value to the name on the tag. It isn’t about prestige as much as it’s about looking fashionable and being yourself without the need to identify yourself with a particular brand or elite status in that way.

4. The clothing and other items are not fancy

The quality of the brands included are high, but there’s nothing fancy included in the lots. It’s not about showing off but rather about being an individual with a unique identity who doesn’t require the use of attention getters to have value as an interesting human being and part of society.

5. Every SSENSE product is authentic

When SSENSE sends their shipments out, you can rest assured that every brand included is authentic. They don’t use knock-off brands. They’re an honest and reputable company.
