The 10 Most Expensive Celebrities on Cameo

Cameo has become one of the best ways to get a personalized video message from your favorite celebrity. It can make an amazing gift for a special occasion, especially since there are opportunities to tell the celebrity what you want – a “happy birthday” for you or loved ones, a bit of business advice, or even for them to blow a kiss to you. The videos are ordered within the app, and while some come at a hefty price, it can be well worth it because the personalized videos are yours. You can watch them as many times as you wish.

While you’ll find a lot of reality TV stars on the app, often looking to make extra cash, there are quite a few celebrities on there, too. This is a chance to get a greeting from a star of The Office, Friends, MTV’s Run’s House and so much more.

The most expensive Cameos are always changing, and much of it has to do with who is popular. The most expensive celebrity can get as much as $5,000 for a single Cameo video. Now, while some of these fees are donated back to charity, some are simply celebrities taking advantage of fans – and that’s for you to decide as you find your favorite celebrities on the app.

Methodology

The way that we established who the most expensive celebrities on Cameo are was by going directly to the platform. We chose to search for everyone – all celebrities, which includes actors, musicians, comedians, reality TV stars, athletes, Instagram and YouTube stars, and more.

We searched based on the highest price.

While it is possible to filter for those who can offer a 24-hour turnaround (and thus, often have higher prices), we chose to look at everyone. This means that the average turnaround for your favorite celebrity to create a video is about three to four days.

Beyond the Cameo.com website, we used a few other sources:

  • Comic-Con: This was used to see who is at the various Comic Cons and what they charge for an autograph or meet & greet.
  • IMDB: This site provides a full list of a celebrity’s TV credits or music albums
  • News sites: To learn about the different businesses that a celebrity may have as well as what is currently happening in their life

The 10 Most Expensive Celebrities on Cameo

The 10 most expensive celebrities on Cameo may surprise you because they’re not some of the biggest names on the app. The most expensive celebrity versus the most famous celebrity are very different. The cost may have to do with what a fan is willing to pay as well as whether the celebs are still actively making money elsewhere. Some of the Hollywood stars, for example, have a lower price, and that’s likely because they don’t need the money. They just want to make Cameo videos to bring smiles to their fans’ faces.

Also, Cameo has a cool feature that allows you to request your favorite celebrity. So, if you want someone from a Marvel movie, your favorite Netflix show, or anyone else, just make the request. They could end up joining, and, depending on what they want to charge, they could be on the most expensive list next year!

10. Angela Simmons – $1,000

Shoe designer Angela Simmons was born on 18 September 1987 in California, making her 36 years old. She hails from Queens, New York. She first became a co-star of MTV’s Run’s House, alongside her father and siblings. Angela has also released a music album and designed a shoe line for Steve Madden. In 2014, Simmons joined the cast of the reality television series Growing Up Hip Hop. She has quite the resume at this point, being a fashion designer, reality TV star, and entrepreneur.

On Cameo, Simmons offers personalized video messages for a price of $1,000. She’s also happy to talk about her incredible body transformation, though on the app, she focuses on messages of happy birthday, pep talks, and advice.

She has been a commentator for the Royal Family and considers herself to be a Princess Diana enthusiast. You may know her for being the “To Di For Daily” podcast host. She’s also the author of “R is for Revenge Dress.”

Schofield is 38 years old and hails from Austin, Texas. Most of her experience in reality TV comes from being a contestant on E! Television’s Party Monsters Cabo, a reality TV show and competition. There was also a love interest with another one of the contestants – and many people tuned into the show to see the budding romance.

On Instagram, McCrae Olson also identifies himself as a twitch.tv/chumlord show producer, so he’s been quite busy since he finished his season.

As for why he’s an expensive celebrity, he apparently believes he has quite the fandom – and there are quite a few reviews that shows that people have spent the money to hear what he has to say. He also lures people in by saying that he’s out of Big Brother’s contract, allowing him to spill the dirt on what’s been happening behind the scenes.

Nigel Lythgoe has made it to the top 10 because of charging $1,000 for a personalised video. He hails from the UK and is a television director and film producer. Considering that he’s given so many a start within the music business, it’s no wonder that so many are willing to pay the money to hear his advice or even be given a Happy Birthday shout-out.

Nigel has been a long-time judge on “So You Think You Can Dance,” too. It was just announced that JoJo Siwa will be replacing the 74-year-old. Whether he chooses to retire or work on another project is still unknown at the moment.

His IMDB credits are nothing short of impressive, showing that he’s been a producer, a dancer, a writer, and more.

She’s an actress as well as an activist and a writer. She’s also served as the national president of the Screen Actors Guild, so she can charge what she does on Cameo, if nothing more than to offer advice to those who are aspiring to break into show business.

While Drescher has a long list of accomplishments on IMDB, she may be best known for shows like The Nanny, Saturday Night Fever, and Living with Fran. Drescher has also opened up about a violent assault that she dealt with a few years back – and as a survivor, she has an amazing story as well as advice for those who have been in similar situations.

Badazz has had some legal issues, including a conviction for a first-degree murder charge in 2001. He was released from prison in March 2014. His cameo videos usually consist of greeting fans, giving shoutouts, and promoting his music.

4. Chef Shipra Khanna – $1500

She’s the only chef who made it to the Top 10 in recent years, but if she gains even more popularity, we may get to see other top chefs on Cameo as well. She was on MasterChef India, which means that there were literally billions of people tuned in to watch her every day. She went on to win her season, and has gone on to become an Indian Cultural Ambassador. She’s 42 now, but she won the competition at 29.

Now, she’s a cookbook author, TV host, and food columnist.

She charges $1500 on Cameo, but she can share recipes, cooking tips, and all sorts of other things that can help you with your cooking.

After the athletic career ended, she transitioned to reality television, appearing on shows such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

In 2015, Jenner announced her decision to transition from male to female. Since then, she has become an outspoken advocate for the transgender community as well as an attractive woman with tips for the entire community. According to Cameo.com profile, her videos usually consist of wishing fans a happy birthday or celebrating a special occasion. While Caitlyn Jenner is the most expensive celebrity on Cameo, that could change at any moment – there are always new people joining the site.

Reality TV Stars on Cameo

Some of the cheaper Cameo videos are reality TV stars – such as the one behind Tiger King. Of course, you’ll also have the impersonators. If you want an Instagram Lindsay Lohan, for example, you won’t find the real celebrity on the website. However, you will find plenty of impersonators who will take your money and give you the best possible experience.

While most of the top 10 are celebrities with a long list of credits to their name, there are some reality TV stars charging quite a fee for Cameo videos, too.

Here are a few who are charging $1,000 per video.

  • Twomad (a Twitch streamer)
  • Kenya Moore (Real Housewives of Atlanta)
  • Andrew Dice Clay (comedian)

Cheaper Celebrities

It puts things into perspective when you look at the most expensive celebrity (a gold medal Olympian, but still, more of a television personality than anyone else). Then, there is legendary actor Richard Dreyfuss, who is from Jaws, Close Encounters, and other movies. Dreyfuss only charges $499 for a personalized video.

Other celebrities that are even cheaper include Brian Baumgartner (from The Office) for only $195 and Kevin Sorbo (who played Hercules) for only $80.

Of course, when you simply want a video without a steep price, you can get someone who is celebrity-adjacent. For example, you can get the bodyguard of Floyd Mayweather for only $50, and this is likely his entire business.
