The 10 Most Expensive Celebrities on Cameo

Cameo has become one of the best ways to get a personalized video message from your favorite celebrity. It can make an amazing gift for a special occasion, especially since there are opportunities to tell the celebrity what you want – a “happy birthday” for you or loved ones, a bit of business advice, or even for them to blow a kiss to you. The videos are ordered within the app, and while some come at a hefty price, it can be well worth it because the personalized videos are yours. You can watch them as many times as you wish.

While you’ll find a lot of reality TV stars on the app, often looking to make extra cash, there are quite a few celebrities on there, too. This is a chance to get a greeting from a star of The Office, Friends, MTV’s Run’s House and so much more.

The most expensive Cameos are always changing, and much of it has to do with who is popular. The most expensive celebrity can get as much as $5,000 for a single Cameo video. Now, while some of these fees are donated back to charity, some are simply celebrities taking advantage of fans – and that’s for you to decide as you find your favorite celebrities on the app.

Methodology

The way that we established who the most expensive celebrities on Cameo are was by going directly to the platform. We chose to search for everyone – all celebrities, which includes actors, musicians, comedians, reality TV stars, athletes, Instagram and YouTube stars, and more.

We searched based on the highest price.

While it is possible to filter for those who can offer a 24-hour turnaround (and thus, often have higher prices), we chose to look at everyone. This means that the average turnaround for your favorite celebrity to create a video is about three to four days.

Beyond the Cameo.com website, we used a few other sources:

  • Comic-Con: This was used to see who is at the various Comic Cons and what they charge for an autograph or meet & greet.
  • IMDB: This site provides a full list of a celebrity’s TV credits or music albums
  • News sites: To learn about the different businesses that a celebrity may have as well as what is currently happening in their life

The 10 Most Expensive Celebrities on Cameo

The 10 most expensive celebrities on Cameo may surprise you because they’re not some of the biggest names on the app. The most expensive celebrity versus the most famous celebrity are very different. The cost may have to do with what a fan is willing to pay as well as whether the celebs are still actively making money elsewhere. Some of the Hollywood stars, for example, have a lower price, and that’s likely because they don’t need the money. They just want to make Cameo videos to bring smiles to their fans’ faces.

Also, Cameo has a cool feature that allows you to request your favorite celebrity. So, if you want someone from a Marvel movie, your favorite Netflix show, or anyone else, just make the request. They could end up joining, and, depending on what they want to charge, they could be on the most expensive list next year!
