This is particularly when assigning the status of the company by its market capitalization, also known as market cap value. The biggest reason for this is because of the hundreds of mergers and acquisitions that take place at any given point in time. This can drastically change the market cap and it’s a consideration to be made when ranking the top businesses. We’ve looked into the top performers and have put together a ranked list of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in the United States for 2019, in accordance with their market cap, beginning with the 20th and moving forward to the 1st.

20. Cardinal Health Inc. – $14.04 billion

The company had a market cap of $198.7 billion on December 31, 2018, and it hs since grown to $215.88 s of July 1, 2019. It is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the company is involved in healthcare and pharmaceutical development and manufacture. This is a company that is based in the United States, but it operates on a global level to deliver medicines and vaccines for humans as well as animal health products.
