How Much Does it Cost to Attend a Green Bay Packers Game?

The NFL is alive and well and if you'd rather be at Lambeau watching the Green Bay Packers play live, instead of watching the television from your couch, the cost isn't really that bad. If this is the first time you've attended a game or the first time in several years, we have useful information that can let you know how much to budget for your special game day. We've included the average cost to attend a Packers game along with a breakdown of the price ranges for tickets, parking, and concessions, so you can customize your experience to suit your budget if it's a concern.

The Ticket prices can be reasonable

Most of us know a few die-hard football enthusiasts who go all out on game day. They insist on sitting in the very best seats, eating the most expensive foods, buying numerous souvenirs and sparing no expense when it comes to enjoying the game live. This, however, isn't what the majority of football fans do. The average price that fans pay for a ticket is $95. They can be purchased for as low as $82 and the most elite packages sell for up to $19,622 towards the end of the season. There are several seating options in the stadium and for most, it's a matter of preference and there is a handy chart of the stadium online that will give you a good view of which seats are available and how much they cost. Really, you can customize your experience on game day and it begins with selecting the seat that suits you best.

Parking fees aren't that bad

The average game attendee prefers to park in the stadium where their vehicles are easy to get to during and after the game, and in a fairly secure location. The cost of parking at Lambeau stadium on game day is $40. If this is more than you're willing to pay to park close to the game, there are lots that charge a low rate of $5 but you're going to walk for several blocks if not for more than a mile to get to the stadium. Some of the closer lots range from $20 to $25 with some in the middle offered between $30 and $35. The general rule of thumb on game day is that the closer you get to the stadium, the higher the cost of parking. This is why so many people prefer to ride to the game together as a group and then split the cost of parking. Even if you don't share the cost, in comparison to what some other stadiums charge for parking on game day, the cost isn't that expensive.

Concession prices are within reason

While there is no getting around the fact that eating at any NFL stadium on game day is more expensive than your average fast food restaurant, Lambeau does offer some value-priced food items that are reasonably priced. Lambeau has ten new food items available this season and they maintain a host of vendors who provide mouth-watering food items that are really hard to resist. You can get an order of cheese curds for $7.25 and the brats are priced at $7 each. If you enjoy drinking beer, a 16 ounce can of domestic will cost you $8.25. The price of beer is higher at some stadiums in comparison. In general, you can expect to pay between $7 and $11 for the concession food individual items and meals with $5.50 for a soda.

What is the average cost of attending a Green Bay Packers Game?

The average ticket price is $95, Parking is $40 and to have a meal and 2 beers, you can get by with an additional $20. The average fan will pay $155 to enjoy a day at the game with a decent seat, a full meal, premium parking and a couple of beers. The price can go up if you want more expensive seats or more concessions. It can go the other way as well. If you want to save money on the game, you can easily cut the costs by going with the $82 ticket, sharing the parking expense with a buddy for a $20 cut and limiting yourself to a soda and a brat for $12.50. You could still have a great time watching the Packers play for just $114.50.
