We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share the details of this remarkable machine. Here is everything you need to know about the new Hellcat

What is a Hellcat Motorcycle?

A Hellcat motorcycle is in every sense, a motorcycle that is made by the Confederate company. According to Bennetts, Confederate is a manufacturer of luxury motorcycles with its home in the United States of America. Hellcat bikes are not only popular in the USA, but also in the United Kingdom, for those who have the spare change to afford them. You’ll see celebrities such as David Beckham riding one around town. The Hellcat is a model line that features a few unique models which are built sparingly in small production lots. This ensures that they maintain their exclusivity as rare collectibles. The rarity drives the price higher but when properly cared for, the motorcycles retain their value quite well over time. Confederate builts each Hellcat motorcycle by hand at the factory located in the state of Alabama.

Examples of the Hellcat motorcycle

Confederate announced its latest model which is called the Hellcat X132 Speedster. It’s a third-generation motorcycle that will be built as a limited edition. Only 65 units will be made. American luxury motorcycle manufacturer, Confederate, has announced the latest (3rd generation) Hellcat, known as the X132 Hellcat Speedster. Only 65 will be built, all of which will be by hand in their Alabama-based factory.

Specs on the Hellcat X132 Speedster

This motorcycle will feature a large 163cc V-twin engine. The amount of torque it will generate is an incredible 140 ft-lbs. It is constructed on carbon fiber materials for the seat, chain guard to the wheels, and the huggers, which lessens the total curb weight of the bike. The large engine is matched with a 50speed transmission that is precision tweaked for the maximum performance found in drag racing ratios. It’s equipped with LED head and tail lights along with a 13.5-liter fuel tank and a leather seat. This model was first released in 1996 for the first time with a limited production number of 500 units, but the company experienced financial difficulty and was forced to go on hiatus for a few years. When the owner was able to recover financially, the second generation was produced, followed by the announcement of its third generation for 2021. The cost of the motorcycle will start at $65,000, but it’s not the most expensive model of the Hellcat offered by Confederate. There is another model that is even higher in price, but it has a little more to offer if you’re a rider who has a strong desire to experience the exhilaration of crazy speed on the highway.

The Confederate X132 Hellcat Combat Motorcycle

According to Uncrate, The X132 Hellcat Combat Motorcycle is a record-breaking bike that fulfills the need for speed on the road. It was tested on the Bonneville Salts and achieved a record of 172.2 mph in the test run, but on the open road where the rubber meets the asphalt, the speed easily bumps up to 200 miles per hour. Confederate has moved up to a major accomplishment with the fastest big block V-twin engine in a motorcycle in the world today. the massive 2,163 cc twin-engine is mated with a 5-speed transmission along with high-end BlackStone Tek carbon fiber wheels, rear Brembo, and front Beringer brakes, a custom suspension, and LED lighting.

Thanks to the use of the special lightweight carbon fiber components, the motorcycle weighs less than 500 pounds. It’s light, powerful, and fast. If you think the new Speedster is expensive at $65,000, get ready for another jolt. The new Confederate X132 Hellcat Combat Motorcycle is priced at a starting cost of $72,000. While it might be spendy, in all fairness, this is a rare collectible bike as there is a strict limit of just 36 of this model variant that will ever be built for worldwide distribution. It’s not going to be easy to get your hands on one of them because they’re in demand and tend to sell out quickly. It’s always worth checking though.

Final thoughts

The Hellcat motorcycle is a model that is a bit on the obscure side. If you haven’t heard about the bike until now don’t feel bad. The Confederate company only produces the Hellcat in limited numbers. Each bike is hand-built at its Alabama facility and every unit is designed to embrace the fullness of a luxury bike. Special lightweight carbon fiber components keep the weight at a minimum while the engineering crew develops large engines that are built for speeds that many riders would consider frightening. Hellcat bikes are expensive, but they do retain their value well. Because of the limited production numbers, practically every variant that is released is considered to be rare at the time of purchase. The rarity is likely to increase with time as some of the bikes are likely to go by the wayside, as happens with motorcycles that are made to be ridden. This isn’t a bike you’d want to keep in a showcase because it has too much to offer in terms of performance and handling. Confederate has had its ups and downs but they have a solid track record for delivering unique motorcycles that satisfy the desires of those that demand the best in luxury vehicles.
