The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is easily one of the most remarkable motorcycles that's ever been made. As a matter of fact, the name “classic” says it all. There was a time when the Enfield Classic was one of the premier motorcycles in existence. Now, Enfield has resurrected one of their best motorcycles ever made with the 2022 Royal Enfield Classic 350. Even if you've never ridden a motorcycle before in your life and you're only just now considering learning how to ride by purchasing one for yourself, this is a bike that you'll be interested in. As a matter of fact, some would even say that it's made precisely for such individuals.
At First Glance
The first thing that you'll notice about this sturdy little bike is that it's clearly made to perform, yet it doesn't look like a lot of the bikes that either have everything on them or nothing at all. As a matter of fact, this particular bike looks like a near-perfect match between a starter bike and one that is for more experienced riders. It doesn't have loads of bells and whistles, but it doesn't need them, either. That's because this is a bike that doesn't need a lot of extras in order to announce its presence. This is a relatively small bike that is clearly designed for functionality rather than just to look good, yet it looks so good in the process.
Old Meets New
One of the things that this bike really has going for it is the fact that it's a perfect mix of old meets new. It's very hard to pull this combination off successfully and that's why it's so important that anyone who tries to do so be able to find that perfect mixture, something that this manufacturer has clearly accomplished. As far as its appearance is concerned, the bike looks like it came straight out of the end of WWII. However, it has a brand new, modern engine and other advantages that you couldn't get back then, such as ABS brakes. It also incorporates fuel injection, something that didn't even exist when WWII ended. Why does all of this matter? It comes down to the fact that you have to have new features that make the bike easier to ride and safer to use, but you don't want to give up that classic styling that made it so successful in the first place. As a result, a bike like this works very well because it acts as something of a hybrid which incorporates the best of both worlds into a single product. In short, you get all of the classic styling and the good looks of the original bike with modern-day features that increase its fuel economy, help it perform better and make it safer to ride.
There are actually a number of advantages to owning this bike, not the least of which includes the fact that it costs less than just about anything else out there at the moment. Granted, you should never make a purchasing decision based solely on cost alone, but it definitely is something that factors in when you're considering a major purchase such as a motorcycle. That's especially true today when everything else is so expensive. The truth of the matter is that when compared to other bikes of similar styling such as those from Triumph, you're likely to pay about one-third the price for this one. Other advantages that are equally important include a seat that sits lower than most bikes, making this one a perfect option for people that don't have a lot of experience riding a motorcycle. It also has enough power to get the job done, yet it's not something that's going to set your hair on fire. Depending on what your skills and qualifications are, you might consider this an advantage or disadvantage. The fact of the matter is that it works well for people who don't have a lot of experience because it's more difficult to get in trouble with a bike like this than it is with one that has loads of raw power. Unless you’re a speed demon, the lack of horsepower isn't likely to bother you. Furthermore, it can come in very handy when you're learning how to ride and you want to use something that's fun and reliable without having so much power that it’s potentially dangerous.
Sorting It All Out
When it's all said and done, this is one of the most forgiving bikes that any rider could get on, even those that are completely new to motorcycle riding. It's also one of the best looking bikes around. That's especially true if you want something that looks like a vintage bike, yet you don't have loads of money to spend on it. If that's the type of styling that you're looking for, you basically have two options available to you. The first is to buy something like this that looks like it was made in a different era, yet has all of the modern-day safety features and an affordable price tag to boot. Your other option is to look for a bike that was actually made during the 1940s and if you're lucky enough to find one, you'll end up easily paying 10 times what you'll pay for this one. You'll get the styling, but what you won’t get is modern-day safety features. When you look at it in that context, there really isn't any comparison to be made. There's a reason that the original Enfield Classic was much loved and there's no reason to believe that this bike won't be loved just as much. If anything, they've improved on the bike in all the best ways possible. The important thing is that they've managed to do that without allowing the bike to fall victim to so many other modern-day machines that somehow lose everything that makes them special. If you want a high-quality bike that is safe, forgiving and affordable with vintage styling that is second to none, you can't beat this particular example.
