The Ball Watch Company SA is a notable brand that is American owned and based in the country of Switzerland in the city of La Chaux-de-Fonds. The history of the company goes back to the American railroad system which was in desperate need of accurate timekeeping. Webb C. Ball established the company in Cleveland, Ohio after a tragic train collision occurred the same year.
