Buick hasn't been a part of the SUV market for long but it has certainly made a positive impact. For your enjoyment and consideration, here are the 10 best Buick SUV models of all time.

10. 2002 Buick Rendezvous

2002 Buick Rendezvous

The 2002 Buick Rendezvous was the first model in the SUV lineup for Buick. It was offered in your choice of the CX Sport Utility and the CXL. The CX Sport Utility was a 4-door vehicle with 7 seats. It was powered by a 3.4-liter V6 engine generating 185 horsepower. The fuel efficiency was rated at 20 mpg. The CXL was the AWD version of the Sport Utility with 4 doors and 7 seats. It was powered with the same engine that was tweaked to have a little more power with a few more luxury features, but the additional comfort and power came at the expense of a fuel efficiency rating of 18 mpg.

The 2007 edition of the Rendezvous was even more popular than the original SUV. It was also available in your choice of a CX or CXL top trim with a few added luxuries. The engine was upgraded to a 3.5-liter V6 with increased horsepower to 196. There were a few other updates such as the exterior and interior styling. This made it popular with fans of previous model years. The extra boost of power didn't affect the overall fuel efficiency much with both trims achieving an average combined mileage of 19 mpg.

The Rainier for 2004, which was its debut model year was an exciting new SUV. It was available in a choice of 15 interior and exterior color combinations. This made it possible for those who ordered their vehicles to customize the aesthetics. It was equipped with a powerful 4.2-liter 6 cylinder engine with the choice of an upgrade to a 5.3-liter V8. The engine was mated with an automatic transmission. It was offered in your choice of 2WD or AWD. Other options included traction control and ABS, AC in both front and rear with separate controls, power windows, power door locks, power steering and cruise control, a tilt wheel, and more. For its time it offered a state-of-the-art entertainment system with AM/FM Stereo and cassette as standard with available upgrades to either single or milt disc CD/MP3 player and premium sound, a DVD, Video, and Navigation system. Other options included an integrated phone and OnStar. It also came with power seats, front and rear side airbags, and parking sensors. You could also order a roof rack, towing package and upgrade the wheels and tires.

The Envision was a brand new SUV offered by Buick with its debut in 2016. It was an intermediate vehicle in between the midsize Enclave and the subcompact Encore. It was loaded with creature comforts and came with a powerful turbocharged engine. that generated 252 horsepower with an AWD system for grip and agility and amazing cornering capabilities. The cabin was quiet with a spacious rear seat for passenger comfort. This was a 5 passenger SUV for mid-size families.
