Pine Lake

10. Pine Lake Water Park Berne, Indiana

The Pine Lake Water Park is one of the oldest recreational establishments in Berne. The land was first used as an archery course in the late 1800s and evolved into the fun-filled recreational water park it is today. In the 1960s they added the crow's nest bobber for single use and the two-man bobber with a 30-foot tower. Each decade they added more including a 100ft two-lane blue racer slide, several modern kiddie slides, a bush maze, a lily pad walk, and a 210 ft curly blue slide. You'll also find a Blackhole slide, a splash pad, and a zip line from the tower. There is also a red drop slide from the end of the pier. The water park also offers sand sculpture competitions, volleyball, paddleboats, an animal park, and tennis courts. There is also an ice cream and hamburger stand if you want to pick up a snack.

This is one of the best water parks in the state. It offers numerous attractions at the water park for cooling off on a hot afternoon. The amusement park portion of the park has some great rides including roller coasters, the cornball express, and more. On the water park side, there are boogie boats, the big flush, bumper boats, the lazy river, and much more. It's a great place to spend all day with so many different attractions that you probably won't' have time to try them all in a single day.

The center is filled with fun and enjoyable amenities including a lazy river, Old Ben's Splash Pad, a slide tower with tube and body slides, the Surf City Bay leisure pool, high energy slides, the Cove Splash Zone, a family changing room, a bathhouse, and plenty of food vendors. The aquatic center is also near a few dog parks.
