What Are Fatigue Reducing Suits?

What exactly is fatigue-reducing suit? If you’re really into technology, you might have already heard of these futuristic, space-age suits. Otherwise, you may be rather surprised to learn of their existence. Suffice it to say that in their purest form, they are exactly what the name implies. The entire concept involves designing suits that are specially made to reduce the fatigue that is so often felt by people in all walks of life. If this sounds a bit far-fetched to you, that’s okay. After all, the idea does sound a bit like something out of an episode of Star Trek. That being said, the concept is indeed one that is gaining a lot of ground. More importantly, it’s one that seems to have some concrete science to back it up.

Information

If you’re thinking about a suit in the terms of a jacket and tie, that’s not quite the type of suit that’s being discussed here. In fact, the overwhelming majority of these suits will never even be seen by the general public. The sole exception here is the one that has been specifically designed and made for construction workers. This particular fatigue-reducing suit is more of an exoskeleton, and by its very nature, it is designed to be worn on the exterior of the construction workers clothing. The majority of the suit is constructed to reduce the pain and inflammation that is often more specific to construction workers and others who have similar physically demanding jobs. As a result, it was made to protect the joints, especially the knees and elbows. There is also a special harness worn by the construction workers that protects the shoulders as well as improving the overall posture of the person wearing it. This may not be the best looking fatigue reducing suit ever made but it does appear to be effective. As far as most construction workers are concerned, it doesn’t need to be some type of fashion statement as long as it can get the job done. By all accounts, it seems to be doing exactly that.

It’s also worth mentioning that a similar type of exoskeleton suit has been designed by experts for those in the military, namely infantry personnel who spend long hours in some of the harshest conditions you could ever imagine. These suits are much like those designed for construction workers, with a couple of major differences. First and foremost, they are designed to reduce soldier fatigue without getting in the way of their normal duties. This means they fit a bot closer to the body. They are also made of material that is naturally lightweight. In addition, they are designed to fit the specific needs of soldiers and have been designed by experts at Harvard. They may look a lot like the exoskeleton suits worn by construction workers, but when it comes to the details, they are actually quite different.

Of course, these exoskeleton suits are certainly not the only ones that are available as fatigue reducing suits. In fact, there are a number of compression suits available on the market which claim to reduce fatigue, relieve pain and help the person wearing it feel better overall. There is quite a lot of science related to the effectiveness of compression garments. These types of suits are basically made like one big compression garment that covers the majority of the body. If you suffer from chronic fatigue or you have a lot of pain, this just might be the thing that you need to get back on track and start living your life again. One of the best things about them is that they are worn just like a regular compression garment, too. Since you are wearing the suit under your clothes, you don’t have to worry about someone seeing it and asking you why you are wearing it. This makes the suit a great option for anyone who is a bit self-conscious about their health, not to mention those who need to dress professionally for work or other occasions. You can simply put the suit on underneath your clothing and go on about your day to day activities as if the suit were not even there. Since you are also likely to reap the benefits from wearing it, you really get to experience the best of both worlds here. You will probably have more energy, less pain, and you don’t have to tell anyone unless you feel inclined to do so. Otherwise, it’s your secret and your secret alone.

If you think that suits of this type are only made for human beings, you might want to rethink that. In reality, the fatigue reducing suits that have been made for humans have become so popular that certain companies have actually started making them for equine athletes as well. This probably sounds a bit odd but it’s true. Furthermore, trainers seem to love the suits. They look a lot like the compression suits worn by human beings. The obvious difference here is that they are designed for horses. They can be a bit cumbersome to put on, especially if the horse in question doesn’t stand still or otherwise behave when you are attempting to get the suit on or off. That being said, they do seem to work. Those who invest tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in a race or show horses claim that the suit works, and they are the ones who should know. Perhaps the more interesting thing is that there seems to be enough evidence to support the effectiveness of such suits that they are already making them for animals as well.

Final Thoughts

Whatever your opinion on the suits may be, you can’t really argue with the fact that they are springing up in virtually all walks of life. If you’re like so many others and you struggle just to get through your daily routine, you might want to try one of them for yourself. You really don;t have anything to lose but you might have a great deal to gain.
