10 Things You didn’t Know About Flex Watches

There are all kinds of watch companies out there that make excellent timepieces. However, Flex watches are just a little bit different than virtually anything else that you’re going to find on the market. While it’s true that the watches themselves are quite unique and interesting in their own right, the main thing about the company is that it’s designed for charity. This is something that’s quite different from other watch making companies, to say the least. When you really get down to it, there are a lot of interesting things about this company that set it apart from others. Below or just 10 of them

1. The company is operated by two best friends

The two individuals that head up the company have been best friends since they were little kids in grade school. You might even say that they’ve been through thick and thin together. Eventually, as they grew they decided they wanted to go into business together but they also wanted to help others. As opposed to taking the usual route and following someone else’s lead, they made the decision to create their own path and the rest, as they say, is history.

2. Much of the inspiration for the company was born out of tragedy

While the two friends, Travis and Trevor, always wanted to do something that would help others, things really hit home in 2012 when Trevor’s mom, Karen-Kagan Jones, passed away from breast cancer. Even while fighting the disease, she chose to lead by example, volunteering and letting her smile brighten the days of everyone she came across. These two friends made the decision to honor her life by doing something that mattered in her name.

3. The company takes on responsibility like few ever do

These two individuals have not made the decision to go out and set the world on fire with their ability to help others because they realize that no two individuals can change the entire world by themselves. However, they also realize something else. If everyone is willing to do their part, wonderful things can happen. That’s exactly what they’re doing.

4. Their watches are unique

If you’re looking for something that you’re not likely to find anywhere else, this is the place to go. They have all kinds of watches that are extremely unique so if you want something that represents your personality in a special way, this is the first place you should be looking.

5. All of their watches represent a cause

Another special thing about this company is that every watch they sell represents a unique cause. If there is a certain thing that really pulls at your heartstrings, there’s a better than average chance you can find a watch associated with that cause.

6. You can get in on the action

If you like the idea of helping others or supporting a certain cause, you can help, too. All you need to do is find a watch that corresponds with the cause that’s most important to you and then purchase it. 10 percent of the proceeds will then go to that corresponding effort in order to improve things around the world.

7. Money goes directly toward making a difference

Whatever cause you choose to support with the purchase of your watch, this company donates that percentage directly to that effort as opposed to using it for administrative costs, overhead or anything else. In other words, the 10 percent actually goes toward improving something instead of being circulated back into the company.

8. They don’t charge you for shipping

If you live anywhere in the United States, you won’t be paying shipping costs in order to get your watch. If you’ve purchased anything through the mail lately, you know how much money this can save you. Sometimes, the shipping costs can almost be as much as your purchase price, depending on what you’re buying.

9. They have a good warranty program

No matter what you buy, it’s under warranty for two years after that date. If you have any problems with it, all you have to do is let them know and they’ll take care of it on your behalf.

10. They’re hoping more companies will follow in their footsteps

It doesn’t take a lot to create a movement in this country. These two individuals are hoping that when others see that they’ve created a successful company that helps other people around the world in all kinds of different situations, they will take note and eventually follow suit. Just imagine what things could be like if everyone had this attitude.
