How Much Does it Cost to Attend a Jacksonville Jaguars Game?

If you haven’t already noticed, football season is in full swing and many people are wondering how much it would cost to go see their favorite NFL team take on the opposition. A lot of people dream about going to see an NFL game in person but for many, that’s as far as it goes. The fact is, a lot of people dream about it without ever acting on it because they automatically think that it’s going to be too expensive for them to go to a game. In a world where you can’t hardly purchase a movie ticket and some popcorn for less than $50, it’s understandable why so many people would balk at the very idea of purchasing seats to an NFL game. After all, this is one of the most popular sports in the entire world, especially in the United States. The good news is that if your favorite team just so happens to be the Jacksonville Jaguars, it might not cost you as much to get tickets as you think.

Breaking it Down

If you want a more realistic picture of what you might be dealing with, there are several factors that you should consider. Clearly, you need to know how much the ticket prices are because that’s going to be the thing that determines whether or not you continue on to discover how much everything else is going to cost. If you decide to move forward, you need to know how much you should expect to bring for things like the concession stand and souvenirs. Don’t forget to include transportation costs, including any associated parking fees.

It All Starts with the Tickets

There’s no doubt that you can spend thousands of dollars on a single seat for an NFL game and you can do that at any stadium in the country. Provided that you’re not in the mood to drop that much money on a seat for a single game, you might be interested to know that on average, you can buy tickets for decent seats to a Jacksonville Jaguars game for about $65. Granted, the nicer the seats, the more money those seats are going to cost. That being said, $65 in order to purchase a ticket to an NFL game is definitely not outside the realm of possibility for most people. Even if you’re on a really tight budget, this is something that you can save up for by socking away just a few dollars a month.

Food and Souvenirs

If you have been to a sporting event or a concert in the last 10 years, you know that even when the seats are affordable, you’re going to get stuck with a high price tag somewhere along the way. As is usually the case, it happens with the concession stand and the purchase of souvenirs in this particular stadium. If you really want to enjoy the experience of going to a stadium, you can go ahead and buy food at the concession stand. A hamburger, fries and a drink is going to cost you about $25 and you can certainly buy items that are more expensive than that. If that’s a concern, you might decide to eat before the game and go to the game just to enjoy the action instead of worrying about food prices. If you decide to buy souvenirs, you better bring some cash with you or find an ATM. If you start purchasing souvenirs, you can almost guarantee that you’re not going to get out of there without spending at least fifty bucks on something. In reality, it’s easy to spend $300 or more without even realizing it and you don’t have that much to show for it when it’s all said and done.

Transportation

You may not have to purchase souvenirs and you don’t even have to eat at the game, but you do have to find a way to get there. Things like fuel cost will vary for each person, depending on how far you’re traveling. However, there is a more constant fee associated with transportation and that involves finding a place to park your car once you get there. In this case, you should be prepared for parking to cost you anywhere from $25 to $35. It all depends on exactly which lot you park in and how close to the stadium you actually get. Of course, it might be easier to just take public transportation and leave the car at home, especially when you consider the madhouse that’s involved in trying to get out of there after the game ends.
