Why La Cosecha Argentinian Steakhouse is One of Miami's Finest Steakhouses

When you think of the cuisine of Argentina, steak is probably the first thing that comes to mind. This country is famous for the quality of its beef and for its vast array of beef dishes. If you enjoy dining in steakhouses and you want to try something served in the Argentinian style, then you can do this while you are Miami if you visit La Cosecha Argentinian Steakhouse. Although there are many steakhouses in Miami that you can try, there are many locals that rate this as one of the best in the city. Here is an overview of this restaurant and what makes La Cosecha Argentinian Steakhouse one of Miami’s finest steakhouses.

The Food and Drink at La Cosecha Argentinian Steakhouse

No matter what type of restaurant you visit, the food and drink on offer are always the key features that will determine your opinion and whether you will make a return visit or not. Diners have reported that there is an excellent choice of dishes, that the food is cooked perfectly, and that the portions are extremely generous. As this restaurant is only open for lunch service on weekdays, there is only one menu from which diners can order. The appetizers on the lunch menu are inspired by the cuisine of Argentina, and there is something to suit all tastes. Some of the highlights of this section of the menu include the tablita mixta, the grilled shrimp with tomato and basil, the empanadas fritas, and the grilled veal sweetbreads, although there are many more options available. There is also a soup that changes daily.

This is not the best restaurant for vegetarians or pescatarians as meat features highly on the entrée menu. As this is an Argentinian steakhouse, it is hardly surprising that the main options consist of a variety of steak dishes. These include short ribs that are cooked to order. Grilled flank steak, skirt steak, New York strip, bone-in ribeye, and boneless ribeye with herbs. However, steak is not the only option on the entrée menu. Other options include grilled Argentinian sausages, grilled chicken breast, breaded veal, picahna, and Milanesa Napolitana. For those who can’t quite make up their mind what they want to try, a great option is the parrillada de carnes, which is a selection of meats, sausages, and sweetbreads with enough for two people to share. This is a great way of sampling a variety of the meats served at this restaurant. There are also chef’s specials highlighted on the menu. Although these change regularly, examples include chicken in mushroom sauce, grilled fish fillers, and flank steak with tomatoes and mozzarella. Which dishes are included in the chef’s special menu depends on the availability of the ingredients according to the season.

All the meat dishes come with two side dishes included in the price. If you want extra side dishes, you will need to pay a little more. The side dishes include rice, various potato options, salads, and vegetable side dishes. For those with a smaller appetite, there is a small selection of sandwiches and salads that are ideal for lunchtime dining. Many people who dine at La Cosecha Argentinian Steakhouse do not have enough room left for desserts as the portions are so huge. However, it is worth making the effort to try one of the desserts, even if you share just one between yourself and a fellow diner. Some examples of the dessert on offer include pannacotta, chocolate fondant, vanilla custard flan, brioche bread pudding. While many steakhouses are known for their extensive wine list or their extravagant cocktails, this steakhouse is better known for its homemade fruit smoothies. These are made fresh to order and there are a variety of fruit flavors available. This is a better option for lunchtime dining and the smoothies fit with the casual dining environment of this restaurant.

The Vibe, Customer Service, and Pricing

La Cosecha Argentinian Steakhouse is best described as being a quaint establishment and one reviewer on Trip Advisor has described it as being a hidden gem. This is a great place to visit for casual daytime dining as it has a relaxed vibe. It also offers a patio for those who want to dine al fresco in good weather. The service has been described as warm and friendly with staff who are helpful and willing to accommodate your needs. This contributes to the pleasant dining experience you can enjoy at this restaurant. In terms of pricing, it is comparable to other steakhouses in the area. While the starters are a little more expensive than other steakhouses, the entrees, side dishes, and desserts are very reasonably priced. For a three-course meal and a smoothie. You can expect to pay around $50 per person at this steakhouse. While this is a little high for people to pay if they eat out at lunch a couple of times a week, it is nice for an occasional treat. However, if you are just visiting to enjoy a sandwich or a salad in your lunch break, you will pay around $20 for your lunch and a drink. This is a much more affordable option for those who enjoy the flavors served at La Cosecha Argentinian Steakhouse.
