About Joe Burrow

Born on December 10, 1996, in Ames, Iowa, Joeseph Lee Burrow became a quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL) when he was recruited after playing college football at LSU. While in college, he won the Heisman Trophy and the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship as a senior. This resulted in him becoming the first overall NFL draft pick in 2020, which the Bengals wasted no time capitalizing on. Unfortunately for Burrow, his rookie season with the Cincinnati Bengals resulted in an injury that cut it short. However, his second season saw him lead the Bengals to its first playoff win wince 1990. This ended the longest active drought among the four major North American sports. Joe Burrow’s performance was instrumental in the Cincinnati Bengals to finally make an appearance at a Super Bowl game since 1988. The Super Bowl LVI has the Cincinnati Bengals pitted against the Los Angeles Rams, which is scheduled for February 13, 2022.

Joe Burrow currently holds the Bengals’ team record for passer ratings, completion percentage, and single-game passing yards. He is currently tied with Boomer Esiason for the most playoff wins. He is the son of Jim Burrows, who was also a noted football player, then a coach, that has seen a career last for over forty years. The legacy of the Burrows name isn’t strictly with football. Joe’s grandfather played college basketball out of Mississippi State. As for Joe Burrow, he was in attendance of the 2002 Rose Bowl when he was five years old while his father was an assistant coach for Nebraska’s team. From that point on, Joe Burrow’s path to becoming a football star officially began.

However, according to Heritage Auction, this same card is up for grabs if anybody is willing to start with a bid of $7,350.00 USD.

The seller, probstein123, is a familiar name on the eBay auction site that frequently buys and sells collector cards from a variety of popular sports.
