  • Of public companies - updated daily. These updates are important because wealth rankings vary over time due to variations/fluctuations in asset values, stock market holdings, and economic conditions.

However, our list of the richest black women is a snapshot in time.

To narrow down and refine our search to include the 15 richest black women in the world, we reviewed various online sources and sites designed to track wealth and other relevant data -
