What It’s Like to Fly First Class on Air France

Given the name, it should come as no surprise to learn that La Première is Air France’s premium service. It is not something that can be found on all of the airline’s routes. Furthermore, it is not something that can be found all of the time. However, should someone choose La Première, they can expect outstanding treatment in exchange for outstanding cost, meaning that it is best for them to look up the relevant details beforehand so that they can make fully-informed decisions when it comes to their luxury travel plans.

What Does La Premiere Cost?

For starters, there is the matter of cost. Unfortunately, getting an exact figure for flights isn’t possible without actually looking up said information on the Air France website, not least because ticket prices can see so much variation based on factors such as time, distance, and availability. However, it is nonetheless possible to get a general idea of the costs.

For example, a round-trip to Paris from New York City will go for $8,280 and up. In contrast, a round-trip to Paris from Los Angeles will go for $11,201 and up, which makes sense, not least because it is a further flight. Of course, there are also a number of conditions that are attached to these prices. One example is how a ticket can be refunded for a charge of $500 so long as it is carried out before the flight has departed. Another example is how modifications can be made for a charge of $450, though there will be limitations such as the requirement that they be made at least 50 days before the departure. Simply put, there is a lot of useful information on Air France’s website for people who are interested in La Première, which they should make use of to ensure the best results for themselves.

What Can People Expect from La Premiere?

With that said, chances are good that for most people, the most interesting part about La Première is the treatment afforded to first-class passengers. Fortunately, there are a lot of perks that come with premium service, which should make for enlightening reading.

First, the treatment starts as soon as a first-class passenger sets foot in the airport. Generally speaking, they will have the entire process expedited for them. Furthermore, there will be staff members lending them a helping hand throughout. On top of this, first-class passengers will be able to make use of the La Première lounge where there is one, which means amenities such as food, HDTVs, and other entertainment options.

Second, the on-board service will start with the first-class passenger being introduced to the crew members, who will be responsible for helping them get as much out of the process as possible. However, even without considering how crew members can help, it should be mentioned that the cabin has an upright seat that can transform into a bed as well as a state of the air entertainment system that comes with 1,000 hours of on-demand entertainment available in a total of 12 languages so as to make it accessible to a wide range of interested individuals. All of this is available in a space that has been decorated with soft leather, soothing wood, and more besides to create a place that is both warm and welcoming.

Food-wise, first-class passengers get to design their own gourmet meals, which are based on the creations of a number of celebrated chefs that are rotated out on a regular basis, thus ensuring variety. Potential menu items can range from the freshest seafood to Asian cuisine, meaning that interested individuals should be able to enjoy a unique meal each time that they fly on La Première if that is their preference. On top of this, it should be mentioned that interested individuals will get a travel kit as well, which contains not just accessories such as eye masks and ear plugs to make the flight more comfortable for them but also personal care products to help them rest and relax.

Summed up, La Première comes at a significant cost no matter when and where interested individuals are flying. However, said individuals can expect to get plenty of perks out of the process, which can make it worthwhile for a lot of people out there.
