There have been no fluctuations in the crime rate in the past two years. The crime rates are extremely low when compared with other areas. The people value education and over 96% have their high school diplomas with 10.7% of the population achieving their bachelor’s degree.

Shellburn

This is the second best city in Vermont to live, like Websterville, with a low crime rate and safe streets to walk. It’s a small community that affords some upscale living, with a good mix of residents who own their homes as well as renters.

North Westminster

The median price for a home in North Westminster is $175,00 which is 5% below the national average. The average cost for a rental home asked is $661 per month. Seventy-six percent of the houses are renter occupied with twenty-four percent owning their homes.

The crime rate for North Westminster is low which means it’s a relatively safe place to live in comparison with most other places. The amenities are outstanding with several places to buy groceries, shop or get coffee. There are a total of nine schools in Westminster along with 2 libraries, 7 parks, 5 fitness centers, and 19 public transit options.

Jeffersonville is a Vermont town with a population of just over 900 residents. The average house price is just below that of the national average. Montpelier has a good educational system with 7 public schools, 2 private schools, and 2 colleges/universities. The average income is $42,473 per year with an unemployment rate of just 3.8%. Vermont is the leading producer of maple syrup.

Most of the cities in the state are small with beautiful landscapes and some offer refined living and privacy. There are good recreational opportunities for sportsmen who enjoy hunting and fishing.
