A Closer Look at the 2022 Harley-Davidson Grand American
Harley-Davidson recently released its 2022 lineup, which largely consists of carryover versions, including the touring and cruiser categories like the new Pan America and Sportster S. As these bikes are expected to be available in US Harley dealership stores soon, it is only natural to wonder what they bring to the table. Some of the upgrades and modifications featured are new color variants, sleek graphics, and improved performance. The new motorcycles will be launched on 26 January during Harley-Davidson’s “Further Faster” event. Let’s take a closer look at one category that was prominent in the event; the 2022 Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring.
Grand American Touring Category
Unlike the previous touring category, the 2022 touring line boasts of new color variations like the Vivid Black/Midnight Crimson in Black trim option that will cost you an additional $32,314. There are also some Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements previously known as the Reflex Defensive Rider System that will set you back another $1,025. As part of its validation to its Hardwire strategy in the H-D’s Touring line (currently known as Grand American Touring), the new models come equipped with the same Hardwire, which seem to play a vital role in improving the bike’s overall road performance. Moreover, some features remain the same as previous models, including a 49mm suspension fork with dual bending valve suspension emulsion rear shocks, ABS-standard linked brakes and a hydraulically adjustable preload. The new 2022 Touring models also come with exciting upgrades such as a Drag Torque Slip Control, Tire Pressure monitoring, electronically linked brakes, cornering traction control, cornering ABS, Vehicle Hill Hold, and classy color variations offerings.
