After leaving Lehman Brothers, Mr. Stocker accepted a job as an analyst in private equity for a London firm called Greenhill Cogent. He worked for the firm from September 2008 through March 2010. He spent a total of 1 year and 7 months on the job. He left the position to focus on preparing to launch his own company, which became MarketFinance. He became inspired to find solutions for solving the funding problems he identified for small businesses while working as a private equity analyst for Lehman Brothers and Greenhill Cogent.

9. Anil is a member of the Fintech Delivery Panel for Tech City UK

Stocker joined the Tech City UK Fintech Delivery Panel in January of 2017. He is a founding member of the panel and has been with the organization for 4 years and 9 months. The panel is comprised of leading FinTech startup leaders from the United Kingdom. It is a collaborative of professionals from the FinTech industry to help drive forward their delivery. It is a place where members can have their voices heard. The organization is always looking for professionals to contribute their thoughts and ideas to the main panel for the betterment and education of all.

10. His company has helped hundreds of small to medium businesses

According to Anil's Podcast, he's had his share of struggles with ups and downs, getting his business established and on track. He and his partners sorted through the problems and got with the business of helping companies receive the funding necessary for growth. So far, MarketFinance has lent out over $3 billion to small and medium-sized businesses. Some of the loans were for survival and others were to help these small businesses grow and expand throughout the United Kingdom.
