10 Benefits of Having a Dell Credit Card

There is no doubt that you have heard of the company Dell, the one that manufactures computers. In fact, there’s a relatively good chance that you might be intimately familiar with Dell computers, working on one each and every day. With that being said, you might not have fully realized that Dell even offers their own credit card. This is something that seems to surprise most people, largely because they don’t associate having a credit card with this particular company. It’s actually a very good card. In fact, you can read about the 10 benefits of having this card below.

1. You can use it to purchase a new computer

If you already have a credit account with Dell, it makes purchasing a brand new computer as easy as counting to three. A lot of people have a tendency to stress and agonize over the decision to purchase a new computer because they are a rather large financial investment. Just how much you end up spending depends on exactly what you decide to buy and how many features it has but even the most basic models aren’t exactly cheap, especially for someone on a tight budget. If you already have an account with Dell, it eliminates all of that stress.

2. You can also use it to purchase accessories and other items

One of the best things about this card is that you can use it to purchase the items that you need so by design, the card is fairly flexible. It gives you the opportunity to spend the money where you need to spend it, whether that involves purchasing accessories for your computer or other items.

3. The annual percentage rate is fairly low

This is something you always have to be careful with. Some companies will charge you almost 40% in interest but this one actually has a fairly good rate. Depending on your credit rating, it varies from an extremely low 19% to a still respectable 29%. Either way, it has one of the better annual percentage rates of any credit card out there.

4. There is no annual fee

This is another place where a lot of credit card companies really get you. If you’re not careful, you end up choosing a card that has an astronomical annual fee that you’re then forced to pay, year after year. With this card, there is no annual fee so you don’t have to worry about that problem.

5. The fees are reasonable

If you happen to make a payment late or go over your limit, you’re looking at an extra fee of about $37 for each of these issues. That is directly in line with what most companies charge and it’s considered a fair amount.

6. You can avoid interest fees all together

This isn’t really unique to this card, but it still worth pointing out. If you simply pay your balance in full before the next billing cycle, you won’t owe any interest on whatever you charge the previous month. This can save you a lot of money in the long run, so it’s important to keep it in mind.

7. The card is relatively easy to get

You might think with something that gives such a good deal that you need to have exemplary credit in order to get it. That isn’t necessarily the case. Even if you do have some dings on your credit rating, you should at least try. You might be surprised at the results.

8. The company is reputable

This isn’t like applying for a credit card from some company you’ve never heard of before. This way, you know that the company behind the card is reputable so there’s less chance that you’re inadvertently providing your information to someone that should have never had it in the first place.

9. They work hard to keep your information private

There are so many security breaches today when it comes to personal information. This is a company that pays a lot of attention to keeping its customers’ information private and it goes to extreme lengths to ensure that the sensitive information does not fall into the wrong hands.

10. You can get regular credit line increases

As long as you pay your bill on time and you manage your credit card well, you can get regular credit line increases fairly quickly.
