It takes a special individual to lead a large and dynamic energy company. Thomas F. Farrell II is the CEO of Dominion Energy and he's had an interesting history and career that has led him to this point in his life. Farrell enrolled in classes at the University of Virginia. It was there that he earned his bachelors of science degree in 1976. He continued with the same university to attend graduate school where he earned his JD in 1979. He's a highly educated professional with a higher degree than most executives in similar positions within the energy industry.
3. His expertise is highly valued
Thomas Farrell II has the knowledge and expertise that makes him highly valued as an adviser within the utilities industry and beyond. He serves in a variety of directorships, memberships and trusteeships on other boards including the Associated Electric and Gas Insurance Services Limited, the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, and Edison Electric Institute.
