Baird Creek East Loop

Although there are several trails to enjoy at Baird Creek Park, one of the best is the Baird Creek East Loop. Not only is this popular with walkers, but it is also popular with bikers. One of the main features of the walk is the beautiful surroundings, which include the creeks, forested land, and areas with wildflowers. It is 2.6-miles long, and it takes just over an hour to finish the trail. The best time to enjoy this walk is in the fall, as the colors are beautiful.

Baird Creek West Loop

Another trail to enjoy in Baird Creek Park is the Baird Creek West Loop. It runs in the opposite direction to the East Loop Trail, and it is possible to enjoy both walks in one visit to the park. The University of Wisconsin to Green Bay Cofrin Arboretum Trail

The middle section of the trail runs alongside the Ahnapee River to Algoma, followed by a boardwalk section. There is a section where you can continue along the trail alongside the Kewaunee River or take a detour to Luxemburg.

Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve

One of the easiest trails to complete that is accessible for everyone is the trail at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve. It is 4.7 miles long, and it is predominantly flat. It is possible to complete this walk in under two hours, so you only need to set aside a morning or afternoon for the hike. The trail is also popular with birdwatchers.

Fox River Trail

It is 4.2 miles long, and most people complete the trail in under two hours.
