Have you been thinking about buying a ticket and going to see a Winnipeg Jets game live? If you're a dyed in the wool fan and enjoy watching them play on television then you'll have the time of your life if you go see them play at Bell MTS Place in Manitoba. The arena is a modern facility with comfortable seating and tons of great vendors. Spending a day at the game is one of the most exciting things for fans. There's something about the atmosphere that gives you a feeling of excitement and freedom. If you've been wondering how much is costs to attend, we have the average cost of attendance to a Winnipeg Jets Game plus a breakdown of the current prices for tickets, food and parking so there will be no surprises.

The price of tickets isn't bad

Fans who attend a Winnepeg Jets game on average pay just $62.54 for a ticket. The prices start at $55.46. Before you get your ticket, we recommend going online and taking a look at the seating at Bell MTS Place to get an idea of where you want to sit. The price of your ticket will vary, depending on which seat you choose, the row, etc. Some of the better and premium seats can go for as much as $272 apiece, but these are usually purchased by those who want to go for the gusto with all the bells and whistles. For $62 you can get a good seat that is comfortable and offers a decent view of the game. It's also a good idea to get your ticket in advance of the game to make sure that you can sit where you want to. They're offered for sale on a first come first served basis and it's easier to purchase them ahead of time. You can also go with the e-ticket option and have all the information stored right on your smartphone.

Parking costs are decent too

If you go a few hours early, you might be able to get a spot on one of the roadside parking spots and end up paying little or nothing for parking, but these spots usually go really fast so you have to be an early bird to get them. The average fan just reserves a spot at Bell MTS Place where they offer about 30,000 parking stalls in the downtown area of Winnipeg. The prices are higher for the stalls that are closer. They offer about 7,000 parking spots that are within a five minute walk of the arena, and about 13,000 that are located within a ten minute walking distance. The cost ranges from $5 to $15 for parking. On average, fans spend $15 to park their vehicles.

Concession stand foods are as expected

We all know that food and drinks at NHL arenas are higher than your average mini-mart or fast food restaurant, but they're not so much that you can't afford to indulge yourself to a treat. They offer a wide range of food and beverage options. You can get a chicken or other type of wrap for $13 which also comes with a drink. They also have carved beef, poutine and pulled pork in addition to traditional burgers, hot dogs, fries and smokies. You can buy a Jumbo Jet Dog that will totally fill you up for $9.75. If you want to add a soft drink and chips it will cost you $15.50. The average price for concession foods are between $10 to $15 for a meal. Bottled water is $5.75, fountain drinks are $5.50 and $6 and beer costs $8.75 for a can of domestic or $9 if you want a can of premium. You can get the large sized 17 ounce draft beer for $9.75.

The average cost of attending a Winnipeg Jets Game

The average fan spends a total of $102 for the ticket, parking and a good meal from the vendors. You may end up paying less if you go with the budget ticket and parking and cut back on the concessions. This is really reasonable considering the amount of fun that you'll have while you're there.
