At the age of just 38 years old she has the world on a string. She has glamour, fame and all of the good things in life that money can buy, but here are ten things that you didn't know about her.

1. She is a Dairy Heiress

Marie Besnier Beauvalot inherited a business that is worth billions of dollars. She and her brothers split the family fortune three ways. Marie is the part owner of the French dairy company called Lactalis. She owns 20.7 percent of the company which sells about $20 billion in dairy products.

2. She is on a Forbes' list

Marie Besnier Beauvalot is listed on Forbes' list of Billionaires for 2018. She is #357 of the richest Billionaires in the world for this year. The industry that has made her family so wealthy is dairy, but it's also cheese in particular. If you've ever eaten Baby bel then you've consumed a product that she is connected with.

3. She has two brothers

Marie Besnier Beauvalot is not an only child. She has two brothers named Jean-Michel and Emmanuel. The three of them share in the family fortune that they have inherited.

4. Lactalis was fined for violation of antitrust laws

One of the dangers of owning a multi-billion dollar corporation is that you run the risk of unintentionally running afoul of the laws and there are plenty of regulations that are hard to keep track of. The company that she and her brothers own was fined a whopping $65 for conducting what was referred to as anticompetitive practices in 2015.

5. Besnier Beauvalot also has an interest in Parmalat

The Besnier heirs became very rich when they inherited Lactalis but this wasn't the only wealthy corporation their family owned. Marie and her brothers also own 83 percent of Parmalat which is a publicly traded corporation. This is a company that pays dividends to the already wealthy heiress.

6. She inherited her wealth in 2000

Marie was just 20 years old when she and her brothers came into the family fortune. She was born in 1980 and she is currently 38 years old. She was one of the youngest billionaires in the world. At the time she inherited her fortune, her net wealth was an estimated $2.5 billion. Since that time it has climbed to a whopping $5.6 billion. This includes money from Lactalis as well as from Parmalat and other holdings. This was the year that her father Michel Besnier passed away. He was born in 1928.

7. Her fortunes are likely to increase

Lactalis is currently the largest dairy producer in all of Europe. They offer a variety of different airy based products including a variety of cheeses and yogurts. While they are doing well in Europe they are set to expand the company yet further. They plan to go international and expand Lactalis in areas of Southeast Asia and China. While she's already a billionaire, her fortunes could increase yet more.

8. Marie is married

She married Stephane Beauvalot on August 28th of 2008 The couple exchanged their vows at Saint Aubin Chateau Neuf, Le Val d'Ocre in Yonne Bourgogne, France. The couple lives together in Laval, Mayenne, France, which is the ancestral home of her family.

9. Marie is a lot younger than her two siblings

Marie Besnier Beauvalot is the youngest child in her family. Her brother Jean Michel Besnier was born in 1967 and her brother Emmanuel Besnier was born in 1970. This makes Emmanuel ten years her senior and Jean Michel 13 years older. There was a sizeable gap between the children. The older brother currently serves as the CEO of Lactalis. He assumed the position that his late father had held. Their father Michel Besnier was the leader of Lactalis for 45 years, serving from 1955 until the time of his death.

10. She keeps her life private

There are so many people who are quite wealthy and beautiful who seem to appear in the limelight on a regular basis. If you haven't heard much about Marie Besnier Beauvalot, it's because she doesn't give out a lot of information. She is certainly no hermit, but she does like to keep her private life very private.
