Much like any other nation, there are places in Mexico where crime rates are higher; then there are other places that are peaceful and safe. Mexico happens to be one of the most stunning locations in North America, and its rich history is steeped into so many areas in the country. If you’ve ever imagined a life in Mexico, here are the 20 safest places you can live in.

Bacalar, Quintana Roo
