The San Antonio Riverwalk or Passo del Rio is a popular 2.5 mile pedestrian park along the winding waterway of the San Antonio River. The creation of the park was due to the daming of the river after a terrible flood in 1921. The result is a popular area with shops, restaurants, hotels and art displays along the the riverfront.
