Gateway Classic Cars began with their headquarters and just one showroom in St. Louis in 1999. They’ve expanded the number of showrooms to a total of 13 in the U.S. including Alpharetta, GA, Dallas, TX, Chicago, Milwaukee, Nashville, Tampa, Orlando, Tampa, Houston, Louisville, Indianapolis, Detroit and Ft. Lauderdale. Plans to expand to Philadelphia are currently in the works.

They are involved with the community

Gateway participates in charity events to support the local communities through two volunteer projects they sponsor. Their Cars and Coffee events donate proceeds to Backstoppers, an organization that helps support injured paramedics and police officers and families. Another organization they sponsor is the Demetrius Johnson Foundation which aids the inner city youth of St. Louis in graduating from high school and it also provides opportunities for them to participate in the arts and music programs. The company also sponsors car club meetings at some of their showrooms.

International sales

The fame of Gateway Classic Cars is far reaching and they’ve attracted customers from around the world with 11 percent of their sales being exports to foreign companies. Gateway Classic Cars continues to plan ahead and expand their business. There are currently plans in place to open an additional 25 showrooms within their home country and in the future, some overseas.
