17. EisnerAmper LLP

Dixon Hughes Goodman is among the largest Southern-based accounting firms. It is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. The firm operates 32 offices throughout the southern and mid-Atlantic states with a staff of 235 partners and more than 2,000 workers.

The firm was founded in 2004 through a merger between Crisp Huges Evans LLP and Dixon Odom PLLC, which was followed by the 2011 merger with Goodman & Company, which dates back to 1932.

14. Plante Moran

Plante Moran is an accounting, tax, consulting and wealth management firm which has been in operation for nearly 100 years. 12. CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA)

The firm was formed in 2012 from a merger of LarsonAllen and Clifton Gunderson firms. As a result of the merger, dual headquarters were established in Minneapolis and in Milwaukee. This large firm employs over 5,500 staff members.

Ernst & Young is an accounting firm that is also a member of the big 4. It is a member of a global organization in operation under the name Ernst & Young Global Limited. Ernst & Young serves clients in the United States with assurance, tax, advisory, and transaction services.

1. PwC PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP

PWC is the largest accounting firm in the United States. This firm has earned the distinction of serving 86% of the Fortune Global 500 companies as well as over a hundred thousand private and entrepreneurial businesses in 2018.

Although the revenues of $41.3 billion were under that of Deloitte, PwC is ranked higher on the list because of its reputation in the US and throughout the world.
