The Top Five Special Edition Ferrari Models of All-Time

When it comes to the world of speed monsters, the Ferrari brand is definitely a force to reckon with. Since its inception about seven decades ago, the company continues to shower the world with one quintessential car model after another and funny enough, you can never predict what kind of model will come up next. It is always a beautiful surprise. Ferraris are a perfect example of when luxury meets innovation as they boast an exemplary design yet are high performers. Since the company was established, it has produced myriads of models but below we direct your focus on the top five special edition Ferrari models ever.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Lusso

With only five units made, the F12 just had to pick the top position. This model leaves heads turning with its exceptionally unique design, and even those who are not car enthusiasts can tell it packs a bunch of high-performance features. It prides itself on V12 engines and has a horsepower of 740 hp which enables it to fly from zero to sixty mph in three seconds. It has a top speed of 211 mph and laying your hands on it means spending fortunes as it an extremely limited edition.

F60 America

If you are the kind of person who falls in love at first sight, then you will definitely fall in love with this beauty. The F60 America has a bespoke interior, convertible top, and new nose. It is not only the exterior which is superb but also its features. It has a 6.3-liter V-12 engine which spits out a horsepower of 730. It is a special edition as there are only ten units of these.

Ferrari Enzo

Ferrari usually sets the pace for other car makers and the Enzo is one of those supercars it releases when it wants to achieve that. With just 349 units released, this road beast comes with a unique aluminum honeycomb and carbon fiber design. It is incredibly lightweight with only 585 kgs and a very high speed of 218mph. It had a 6.0-liter V-12 engine and was inspired by the formula one technology which means it does exceptionally well on the track. Enzo has a horsepower of 650/7800rpm and a compression ratio of 11:2:1.

Ferrari 458 Speciale A

Although it is a roofless version of the 458 Speciale, this special edition Ferrari is quite tricky to come by as only 499 units were made of which most go to the wealthy top tiers Ferrari enthusiasts. The A on its name stands for Aperta which in Italian means open. Apart from its incredibly sleek design, the speciale A features aspects that many of us would die for. The exterior design looks more like a coupe and is made of metal. It has a top speed of 199 mph which makes it one of the fastest convertibles in the market and a power output of 596HP/9000 RPM. The torque is also powerful with 398 LB-FT/6000RPM. Drivers can enjoy moving from 0 to 100 on 3.0 seconds and back to 0 in 14 seconds. The world definitely needs more of this, but Ferrari definitely knows how to keep it relevant by making it a special edition Ferrari.

2010 Ferrari 599XX

When you talk about supercars, please be sure to speak of the 599XX which is the first one ever to break the seven-minute barrier in 6 minutes 58.16 seconds. It is also among special edition cars and is one of Ferrari's most rare sports cars to find. It boasts an exceptional design and has a horsepower of 700 at 9000rpm. In regards to the bodywork, it is made up of carbon fiber and aluminum to be lightweight and to enable it to be swifter in regards to speed and response to the carbon ceramic braking system.

In a nutshell, Ferrari is one of the best car models in the world. It does not only have the best designs for sport cars but also the speed that you've ever dreamed of. However, these are limited designs and getting one could be really hard. It goes without saying that what pleases you is not what pleases everyone else, therefore, select that one model that meets your specifications and go for it. You will have a chance to leave your friends jealous, but don’t mind the amount of damage it will leave to your bank account.
