How Adin Ross Achieved a Net Worth of $24 Million

If you’re new to Adin Ross, you’re in for a bumpy ride. This highly popular and controversial social media star could be considered a PR nightmare, yet he maintains an extraordinary level of devotion and popularity with his fans. Let’s look at the star’s rise to fame, some of his controversies, and how it all led to his overall net worth today.

Growing a Following With a Little Help From Friends

Adin David Ross grew up in Boca Raton, FL, before he moved to New York City, and then ended up in Three Rivers, CA. No matter where the future star lived, he always loved streaming. In fact, the streamer claims that he skipped his high school prom so that he could stream instead.

Through streaming games like NBA 2K and Grand Theft Auto, his personality and interactions with famous people have kept fans coming back time and again. This included Bronny, who is LeBron James’ son. This collab ended with the two players betting a few thousand dollars on a game of NBA 2K.

The streamer expanded his presence onto YouTube and other social media platforms, allowing him to enjoy multiple streams of income. However, some of the creator’s content would lead to an unpredictable future for many of these venues.

Ups and Downs for Adin Ross

When the streamer began playing NBA 2K21, it wasn’t well-received by Ross or his Twitch community. So the influencer started a Twitter hashtag, “#make2kfunagain,” and it trended worldwide on the platform.

Since the game wasn’t good entertainment, the streamer decided to host “e-date” streams. In these, people were able to compete for dates on Discord. The idea was so good that his Twitch account continued to grow.

As the pandemic changed life for everyone around the globe, Ross saw his channel grow even more. He took advantage of the unprecedented chance for his stream to grow with gaming, his dating “show,” and a slew of guests and collaborations.

While on his multiple platforms, Adin has had to deal with a lot – some of it due to his own actions. He’s been a victim of a “bot attack,” which flag accounts as being inflated with fake subscribers. That’s against the terms of service for some platforms, and Ross had to deal with the consequences of that attack.

Suspensions

The streamer’s channels have also been suspended from time to time. In 2021, Ross was banned from Twitch during a controversial phone call with another YouTuber. He was banned for two days until Twitch announced that he would be able to continue streaming. It might have had something to do with his fan’s #FreeAdin movement on Twitter.

In April of 2022, Twitch banned Adin yet again. This time it was due to the use of hateful words or symbols while on another streamer’s livestream. But again, Adin was allowed to return to streaming on the platform in June 2022.

This final and reportedly permanent ban on Twitch came in February of 2023. After a rant about a teacher’s lesson regarding pronouns, the Twitch platform seemed out of tolerance for the streamer’s antics.

Despite all of the controversies and offenses, somehow Ross is continuing to grow in popularity. In fact, he’s used his controversy so ingeniously that he’s continuing to rake in the dollar bills.

Trailblazing on a New Platform

It was as if the popular streamer could see the writing on the walls at Twitch. In 2023, he signed a deal with Twitch’s competitor, Kick. According to EarlyGame.com, the streamer announced his decision in the best way he knew – with a parody where he made fun of himself.

Adin Ross Loves Nice Cars

For a guy you would think would be “canceled” by now, he seems to have plenty of money to keep him enjoying life for a while. This is especially true when it comes to his cars. According to 21Motoring.com and Sportskeeda.com, Ross owns:

  • Lamborghini Urus
  • Porsche 911 Carrera 4S
  • Audi RS Q8
  • Range Rover Sport
  • Volvo XC90
  • Alfa Romeo Giulia
  • Jaguar XE

This list is impressive, especially considering a 20-something streamer owns these vehicles. Add that to an online presence rife with controversy, and it’s a substantial showing for just a handful of luxury cars.

Short-Lived Massive Mansion

According to Dirt.com, the home that Ross purchased in 2019 went back up for sale recently. The four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home is 5,500 square feet and was initially purchased for $5 million. The current asking price is $5.5 million.

Another home reported by UrbanSplatter.com to be owned by Ross is a 12,500 square-foot 10-bedroom, 13-bathroom home that cost just over $7 million. This house has a game room, multiple fireplaces, a gym, and tons more.

If a streamer felt his income was in jeopardy, he likely wouldn’t have upgraded his home on such a grand scale. Not to mention that investing in real estate is generally a good idea. It’s one of those things that can really help with a person’s overall net worth.

Is Ross a Charitable Guy?

This creator showed he’s got more than enough money when he announced his intention to donate 20% of his Twitch earnings to charity in 2021. He even went as far as to donate 10% to LGBT+ causes and let his subscribers decide where the rest of the money should go.

The influencer also donated a reported $10,000 to RSGloryandGold creator Tony Winchester in 2022. Unfortunately, Winchester was diagnosed with brain cancer and later succumbed to the illness.

What About Social Media and Branding?

You can follow the famous influencer on multiple platforms. Since he is no longer on Twitch, you can see him on Kick, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.

These platforms show that the influencer has no trouble with his presence or popularity with:

  • 5.7 Million Followers on Instagram
  • 3.5 Million Subscribers on YouTube
  • 2.2 Million Followers on Twitter
  • 219,885 Followers on Kick
  • 6.4 Million Followers on TikTok

While following and subscribing are the main ways people support their favorite personalities, many influencers have their own merch for fans to buy. Ross has his own merch line, and you can find it at adinrossmerch.net.

With such staying power and loyal fans, the streamer hasn’t seemed to slow his career growth. The number of platforms he’s on, as well as his merch available for purchase, the numbers seem to support a healthy overall net worth.

What Is Adin Ross Net Worth?

Don’t make the mistake of underestimating the staying power of Adin Ross. While the “cancel culture” has made it so that any publicity isn’t always good, Aden seems immune to that trend.

Despite all the controversies and drama, Adin Ross’s net worth is approximately $24 million. Moreover, his popularity in the States and worldwide hasn’t slowed down, even in the face of some challenging situations. If nothing else, he’s earned his money and shown the world he’s a survivor.
