20 Cars Similar to the Nissan Versa

2022 Nissan Versa

The first of the Nissan Versa models began in 2006. It was introduced as a subcompact car that played with the term "versatile space" as part of its campaign to promote the four-door sedan. It's one of the few automobiles of its kind left as an increase of automakers have been dropping small cars in favor of crossover SUV units. Despite this, there are still at least twenty cars similar to the Nissan Versa worth mentioning.

As of 2019, it went into its third generation as the Japanese-based manufacturing company continues to cater to an audience that still has a preference for smaller cars over SUVs. The 2022 lineup of Versas start at $15,380.00 USD, according to the manufacturer's suggested retail price. Its base model has a horsepower rating of 122 at 6,200 revs per minute.

The fuel economy rating of the 2022 Versa is at thirty-two miles per gallon in the city and forty miles per gallon on the highway. Inside the trunk, there are nearly fifteen cubic feet of space to work with. Even in 2022, it still holds the tradition of making the most out of the versatile spacing it promises as a subcompact sedan.

The length of this vehicle is 182.2 inches long, just slightly more than five inches long. Aside from this measurement, the two share similar numbers when it comes to interior spacing for its five-passenger capacity. In cargo space, the Versa is the clear winner at 14.7 cubic inches compared to ILX's 12.4 cubic foot measurement.

2023 Acura Integra

The Acura Integra would be another luxury alternative to the Nissan Versa. Starting at $34,350.00 USD, this subcompact four-door sedan measures a length of 186.4 inches. Granted, this is longer than the 177 inches measured by Versa but it still shares the same category. Both of them also come as front-wheel drives

3. Chevrolet Sonic

Although no longer in production, the Chevrolet Sonic came as a hatchback and sedan starting in 2011. Although no longer in production, the Sonic has much in common with the Nissan Versa as a subcompact sedan that also doubled as a compact five-door hatchback. The 2020 Sonic was originally marketed at the base price of $16,720.00 USD and came as a front-wheel drive.
