The new watch is a loyal reproduction of the original design. It is sleek with a tapered case that measures 42.40 mm in length with a width of 33.60mm and a thickness of 14.64mm. The new case has been developed from scratch. It is made from a black ceramic-resistant matte. The back case is made from grade 5 titanium. The case has a pusher and a GP badge made from titanium. There is also a ceramic bracelet that has a rubber interior. The folding buckle is made from titanium. All the materials used are lightweight, which brings the total weight to 107 grams. The watch is very comfortable, and it's an excellent conversation starter because of its sleek design.

Chronograph

The timepiece displays the count of minutes and seconds. The watch counts up to 59 seconds and 59 minutes. After 59 minutes, the watch restarts from 0. To set the chronograph, follow the following steps; Long press the right button to display 00, Press the short push on the left side to start and stop the chronograph, Long press the left button to reset the clock. After 10 seconds, without any interruption, the watch will be on standby mode. The clock will be counting in the background, Display the chronograph count by pressing the right button, Switch from chronograph time to time display by long-pressing the right button. The time display stops the chronograph functions, which means you cannot start, reset or stop the chronograph. To return to the chronograph functions, where you can start, reset and stop, long-press the right-hand button.

Practical Functions

Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 has different functions. To display the available functions one after the other, press the left button while looking at the dial. After 2 seconds without interruption, the watch will be on unlit standby mode. The available functions will be displayed in this order; hours and minutes, seconds (displayed for 60 seconds), Great Meridian Time(GMT) if you activate the second time zone, the time of the second time zone if it is activated, the day abbreviated in English and the date, and the month and year abbreviated by the last two digits.

Secret Function

A unique function of Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 is available, which reminds the user of special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. When activated, it displays the secret occasion for 20 seconds at a time of your choice. To activate this function, follow the same process as when you set the time and date. It is found in memo settings.

Time and Date Setting

Set the time and date by long-pressing the left button to display settings and the right button to display time. When you press the right button again, it will enable the setting function with a flash. Press the right button again and scroll through the available digits. Once you select a digit, press the left button and set the date or wait for the screen to go off. To set the other functions like hours, minutes, year, month and date, repeat the process, and after 10 seconds with any interference, the watch will be on standby mode.

2nd Time Zone

The second time zone is set by long-pressing the left button to reveal the set and the right button to display time. Press the left button again to get GMT. When you press the right button, you will be able to access settings. Scroll through the hours' digits and press the left button. Repeat the process to set the minutes. Then press the right button to activate the 2nd time zone. After 10 seconds with any interference, the watch will be on standby mode.
