How Khloe Kardashian Achieved a Net Worth of $60 Million

Khloé Kardashian, along with her family, has collectively built a multi-billion dollar empire. The family has been a major part of pop culture, social media, and reality television for almost 2 decades. For her part, Khloé Kardashian has a net worth of $60 million.

Khloé Alexandria Kardashian was born on June 27, 1984 in Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Kris, was a homemaker and socialite. While her father Robert was a high-priced attorney who successfully defended OJ Simpson in the infamous murder trial.

Simpson has been accused of brutally murdering his wife Nicole and her friend, Ron Goldman. Ironically, Kris (who was by then divorced from Robert) was one of Nicole Brown’s best friends. She even sat in the courtroom, on the prosecution’s side, with her new spouse Caitlyn Jenner.

Khloé at the time was a young girl attending schools like Bel Air Prep and the all girls Marymount high school. Upon graduation from high school, she became a personal assistant to Nicole Richie, daughter of Lionel Richie, and star of her own reality show with friend Paris Hilton.

In 2007, however, Khloé and the rest of the Kardashian’s lives were about to change. So was the Khloé Kardashian net worth.

Khloe Kardashian’s Net Worth Story

In 2007, the Kardashian family’s star began to rise, when a 2003 sex tape made by Kim Kardashian surfaced. It shot Kim and Kris into the spotlight, and later that year, the entire family was rounded up to star in what would become a national phenomenon.

The entire clan was set to appear in the new E! network series Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Along with Khloé, the cast included:

  • Kris (mom)
  • Kim (sister)
  • Kourtney (sister)
  • Rob (brother)
  • Caitlyn Jenner (spouse of Kris and stepparent to Khloé)
  • Kendall Jenner (half sister)
  • Kylie Jenner (half sister)
  • Burton Jenner (stepbrother)
  • Brody Jenner (stepbrother)
  • Casey Jenner (stepsister)

When the show hit the airwaves in late 2007, viewers were entranced by the over-the-top glamour and excess of the group. Their funny yet meaningless escapades provided an escape for the average person.

The extended family had a hit on their hands. While the show aired on E!, Khloe made about $4.5 million a season. Upon moving to Hulu and being made a prouder of the show, her yearly salary increased to $7.5 million.

Over the years, Khloé has made several million more dollars starring in spin-off shows like:

  • Khloé and Lamar (with former husband Lamar Odom)
  • Kourtney and Khloé Take On Miami
  • Kourtney and Khloé Take On The Hamptons
  • Dash Dolls (with her sisters – the series focused on their boutique)

Khloe’s Experience on Other Shows

Over the years, Khloe has struck on her own and appeared on a few other shows. She was a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice where Donald Trump “fired” her in the 6th round. In 2012, she co-hosted The X Factor with Mario Lopez.

Khloé also appeared in episodes of 90210 and Punk’d. She became producer and host of the Investigation Discovery channel show “Twisted Sisters”. The show was about sisters who turn on each other in treacherous ways.

Khloe Kardashian’s Massive Instagram Account

Khloé is one of the top money makers on Instagram. Currently, she has over 286.8 million followers on the platform. She reportedly gets at least $250,000 per post to endorse products. However, she has been known to get as much as 900,000.

Some of the endorsements have been for waist slimming pants, Coke, various beauty products, and oral care systems.

Over the years, she has received criticism for some of her paid posts. She endorsed a weight loss shake a few years ago and several celebrities responded on the post that she was being dishonest by not telling her fans that it was personal trainers, chefs, and plastic surgeons that helped her achieve her fit body and not the laxative laden shake.

Khloe’s Other Business Ventures

One thing that can be said for Khloé and the rest of the K gang, is that they have a keen business sense. Khloé has started several successful businesses over the years. Some with her sisters, her ex-husband, and others on her own.

The sisters released a jewelry line in 2010. It was comprised of mostly chunky, high-end looking costume jewelry. The pieces ran at an average cost of $70.

Later that year, the sisters collaborated again to release a clothing line called K-Dash. They opened up a boutique to highlight the collection. Of course, there was a reality show to go along with it. However, both the show and the boutique were short-lived. But the shopping network QVC picked up the line soon after.

Khloé struck out on her own in 2016 to start her own clothing line called American Jeans. The company, which started with just jeans in sizes 0 to 24, made $1 million on its first day. The American Jean Company has since expanded to include dresses, workout clothes, and a maternity line.

While married to NBA player Lamar Odom, the couple released 2 unisex fragrances called “Unbreakable” and “Unbreakable Joy”. She then partnered with Kourtney and Kim to create another fragrance line.

Khloe Kardashian Books and Podcasts

Khloe’ is not just about reality television and fashion, she’s an author and broadcaster as well.

In 2010, she released a book with her sisters Kourtney and Kim called: Kardashian Konfidential. In 2015, Khloé struck out on her own to publish the fitness book, “Strong Looks Better Naked”. Here she shares her journey to fitness and gives the reader tips and inspiration on how to do the same.

Khloé dipped her feet into radio when she hosted the show, The Mix Up. The show had her interviewing various celebrities like her husband and siblings, and playing a mix of music genres. In 2021, Khloé hosted the first ever Candy Crush Saga Tournament for which she was paid a rumored $2 million.

Her Real Estate Portfolio

Khloé knows a thing or two about making money in real estate as well. In 2014, she bought Justin Bieber’s house for $7.2 million. The house was sold in 2020 for $15.5 million, making her a handsome profit. She now lives in a $17 million mansion in Hidden Hills, California near her mom.

Khloé Kardashian’s Personal Life

Believe it or not, Khloé does have a life away from the cameras. From 2009 to 2016, Khloe was married to NBA player Lamar Odom. The two were married one month after meeting at a party.

Soon after that marriage ended, she began dating another basketball player, Tristan Thompson. The couple have 2 children together.

Despite a turbulent relationship that includes allegations of Tristian cheating with one of her sisters, Khloé seems committed to keeping her family together.
