Kyle Kazan is an American businessman and entrepreneur. He is the current CEO of Beachfront Property Management, Inc. Kyle has done a lot of things in his life, but most recently he has made a fortune in the real estate business. We were interested in learning more about him and the secrets to his success in a cutthroat industry. We learned some interesting facts about him that we found inspiring for entrepreneurs. Here are 10 things you probably didn’t know about Kyle Kazan.

1. He’s a California native

Kyle was born in Inglewood, California on March 11, 1867. In March of 2021, he turned 54 years old. His parents were Richard and Anne Kazan. Kyle grew up on the Palos Verdes peninsula. He graduated from the Palos Verdes High School in 1985, according to Wikipedia.

2. Kyle was a basketball player

Kazan played basketball in high school. He was recruited by the University of Southern California to play basketball. Now Hall of Fame coach George Raveling recruited him to play shooting guard and point guard from 1987 through 1990 on the school’s team. He was extremely athletic in his late teens and early 20s.

3. Kyle is a teacher

Kazan attended the University of Southern California from 1987 through 1990. He graduated with his bachelor of arts degree in history. The year after graduating from college, Kyle Kazan became a special education teacher. He remained in this position for four years before he felt the need to move in a different direction. This was the first career choice he made after graduation, but his future would take him in many different career directions.

4. Kyle changed careers in 1995

Kazan moved from the teaching profession to law enforcement in 1995. He became a police officer and was hired at the Torrance Police Department. He received specialized training in gang and drug enforcement. He was instrumental in making several felony arrests. He also served as a court-certified expert in drug sales. He served in law enforcement until 1999 when he realized it was time to move on to another career direction.

5. Kazan turned to the real estate industry

According to BFPM Inc., Kyle and his wife Diane became involved in the real estate business in the late 1990s. Kyle is a talented individual who is good at almost anything he puts his mind to. He founded Beachfront Properties LLC with his partner James B. Rosenwald. Kyle became interested in finding distressed properties and turning them around into stable homes with greater value. This became his signature accomplishments in real estate and it also helped him in expanding the company. Beach Front Real Estate now has holdings throughout the USA and it has grown into one of the larger companies in the sector.

6. Kyle earned an unflattering nickname

Some other professionals in the business don’t look upon Kyle’s strategies favorably. Although he’s merely repositioning troubled assets, Some have dubbed him as a “vulture investor.” He is an expert on assessing rundown properties and seeing the possibilities for turning them into stable assets. He moves on property deals when he knows that there is a profit to be made, which is reasonable when it comes down to the brass tacks of making smart business decisions.

7. Kazan is a lecturer

Kyle has a strong background in education, with years of teaching experience. His expertise in real estate and strategies for flipping real estate has made him a guest speaker in high demand. He serves as a guest lecturer about investing and management at the NYU Stern Business School, as well as at the USC Marshall School of Business, the UCLA Anderson Business School, and many other events in the real estate industry. 8. Kyle went from busting drug dealers to running a cannabis and hemp company

The Glass House Group is a vertically integrated hemp and cannabis company. It has grown to become the largest privately held company of this type in the world today. The company is agriculturally based, which represents yet another shift in career focus for Kazan. The business is run under eco-friendly cultivation conditions and maintains high standards for being earth-friendly in its manufacturing, processing, and distribution activities. The Glass House Group distributes its in-house brands to a variety of retail locations throughout the world.

9. Kazan is still passionate about the war on drugs

Kyle grows cannabis and produces products from the plant although it is still illegal at the Federal level. He views the legalization of cannabis at the state level as a green light to move forward as a businessman in an emerging industry. Kyle Kazan doesn’t have a lot of hangups or preconceived notions. He is hopeful that the Fed will recognize the industry and one day legalize cannabis at a national level. He sees the value in producing the products as a choice for a healthy lifestyle. He doesn’t view his involvement in this industry as being harmful to others in any way.

10. He is a family man

Kyle Kazan has made many fortunes. His latest endeavor with the Glass House Group is something that he is proud of and passionate about, but he shared that he has learned one very important thing through the decades of career changes and business ownership. That is to create a healthy balance between work and home. He values his family and realizes that it is important to make time for his loved ones and to include them in what he does. He takes time out for himself as well as for his family. He also acknowledges that life is about change and you must accept the changes as they come and do the best you can in the situation.
