Why Texas de Brazil is One of the Finest Steakhouses in Dallas

Texas De Brazil

Dallas is famous for the quality of its steaks, which are often locally sourced from Texan ranches. It is the quality of the beef that is probably why many people who eat out in this city will choose steakhouses over alternative restaurants. If you are a fan of eating out in steakhouses, then you will find plenty to choose between in this city. Each of these is unique and offers something different to its competitors, either in terms of the food or the overall dining experience they deliver. One that many people consider amongst the best in Dallas is Texas de Brazil. Here is an overview of Texas de Brazil and why it is considered one of the finest steakhouses in Dallas.

The Restaurant

Texas de Brazil is a chain restaurant with multiple locations. The Dallas location is situated on Cedar Springs Road. From Monday through to Thursday, this steakhouse is open from 5 pm to 9.30 pm. The Saturday opening hours are 4 pm to 10 pm, while it is open from 4 pm to 9 pm on Sundays. On Fridays, it is open for both lunch and dinner service as it is open from 11 am to 2 pm and then from 5 pm until 10 pm. According to Zagat, this steakhouse is a carnivore’s paradise. It is a traditional Brazilian churrascaria that serves guests with an endless supply of meat, which is served tableside from skewers. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, which enhances the dining experience, and the attentive staff makes all guests feel welcome and ensure that everyone is having a great time. Of course, a beautiful setting and good customer service are worth nothing if the food is not up to scratch. However, diners report that the food is of an excellent standard, and the dishes are created using high-quality ingredients. As this is a Brazilian churrascaria, diners do not order dishes from the menu. Instead, they participate in a huge dining fest where food is delivered to their table in an endless supply. The dinner menu predominantly consists of meats that are cooked on skewers barbecue style, and these are then carved and served tableside.

Menu

Some of the meats include herb-marinated pork loin, leg of lamb, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, parmesan drumettes, chicken breast in bacon, beef ribs, Alcatra lamb chops, barbecue pork ribs, flank steak, parmesan-crusted pork loin, filet mignon, Brazilian sausages, and garlic picanha. Diners also have access to a huge salad bar. Not only does this have ingredients that you would typically expect to find on a salad bar, such as lettuce and cucumber, but it also has a vast array of ingredients you would expect to find at a delicatessen. For example, some items include salami, smoked salmon, crostini, olives, and shrimp salad. Furthermore, there is a vast array of cheeses that diners can add to their plate. There is also a selection of hot dishes from which diners can choose, and each of these is served with complimentary garlic mashed potatoes, fried bananas, and house-baked cheese bread. Some of the hot food options include lobster bisque, moqueca, and feijoada.

This is an all-you-can-eat restaurant, so it is likely that you will completely stuff yourself with the salads, carved meats, and hot dishes. However, it is worth trying to save a bit of room as this Texas de Brazil also has a great dessert menu. These are the sort of desserts that you would expect to find in a traditional steakhouse, such as key lime pie, cheesecakes, carrot cake, and pecan pie. Although the all-you-can-eat menu is the one chosen by most diners, you can also pop into Texas de Brazil for a drink and a snack as they have a bar menu of tasty nibbles. These include the lobster bisque, an antipasto platter, and Brazilian Caipirinha.

Texas de Brazil is also noted for its extensive wine list. The wines are sourced from both domestic and international vineyards, and the selection includes some of the finest red, white, sparkling, and rose wines. The staff at Texas de Brazil is happy to help you choose the perfect bottle of wine to accompany your meal. If you are not a wine lover, there are plenty of other options available from the bar. There is a particularly good choice of spirits available from the bar, although you can also order a beer if you prefer.

The pricing at this steakhouse differs from steakhouses where you order individual dishes off the menu. The eat-all-you-can menu is $45.99 per person, although you can opt to eat just from the salad bar for just $29.99. If you visit on a Friday lunchtime, hen you will pay much less. The cost of the main menu is $24.99 while eating from the salad area only is just $19.99. Compared to many other steakhouses, you will eat relatively cheaply at this restaurant. The dessert and any drinks are an additional cost, but you can still eat from the salad bar, enjoy the carved meats, enjoy a bottle of wine, and treat yourself to a dessert for around $80 per person. This is much less than other steakhouses as you would typically pay a minimum of $100 per person. Texas de Brazil is especially good value when you consider that there is an endless supply of food.

Final Thoughts

It is possible to hire part or all this restaurant for group bookings or for a celebration. For group dining and events, you can enjoy the same food as is served on the menu daily. It is also worth noting that Texas de Brazil does outside catering, and you can order food in advance and then collect it to enjoy at home. Therefore, dining in the restaurant is not the only option available to you. Overall, Texas de Brazil has many excellent features that make it one of the finest steakhouses in Dallas. You can eat a vast amount of delicious food that is well prepared using good quality ingredients. The surroundings are pleasant, the customer service is excellent, and the meals are good value for money.
