The Five Best Steakhouses in Dallas, Texas

If you are visiting Dallas, Texas, then the local cuisine is something you will definitely want to sample during your stay. There are some amazing dishes that are produced using local and seasonal produce in this city.

One thing that Texas is famous for is its beef, which is hardly surprising since this state is well-known as being home to some of the largest cattle ranches in the United States.

For this reason, many of the dishes feature beef as the main ingredient and steak is a popular choice on menus across the state. The best places to try these are at one of the many outstanding steakhouses that you will find in Dallas. Here are five of the best.

5. Pappas Bros. Steakhouse

This cozy venue is popular among the locals, which is a good indication of the quality of the food and the standard of the service at this restaurant. It is one of the more expensive venues in Dallas, but it is fantastic for a treat.

This upmarket chain restaurant has a menu featuring quality prime steaks with a good selection of sides to choose between. Another great feature of this restaurant is the extensive wine list which includes wines from the best wine programs in the United States.

The staff are well trained, so they have a good knowledge of the menu and the ingredients used to create the dishes. Diners love the friendly ambiance of this restaurant and it is what makes them return time and time again. You will find Pappas Bros. Steakhouse on Lombardy Lane and it is open from 5 pm until late every day.

4. EG Steak

Located on Texas 121, this steakhouse offers a different experience to other steakhouses in the city. It is an all-you-can-eat option that offers both roasted and skewered meats that are carved tableside.

This Brazilian steakhouse also offers salads, soups, and a large selection of desserts. Former customers have praised the quick service and helpful staff as well as the relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere of this venue. It is open for both lunch and dinner service every day except Saturday when it is open from 4.30 pm to 11 pm.

3. Texas de Brazil

Texas de Brazil is an upscale version of an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The grilled meats are carved at the table side and guests can also help themselves to the fresh salad at the salad bar.

The meats include flame-grilled steaks, chicken, pork, lamb, and Brazilian sausages. Diners have praised the efficient and helpful service, the speed of the food’s arrival, the fantastic choice of fresh food, and the pleasant surroundings.

Texas de Brazil is located on Addison Road and is open for lunch and dinner service each day.

2. Chamberlain’s Steak and Chop House

This restaurant is a meat lover’s dream as it serves a huge selection of prime steaks, top-quality chops, and many other meat options along with a great selection of side dishes.

The owners have opted for a classic steakhouse interior finish that features wood-paneled walls and an intimate atmosphere. In addition to the main restaurant, there is also a cigar lounge where diners can relax with a drink either before or after their meal.

Diners have said that the steaks are always perfectly cooked to order and that the service is impeccable. It is reasonably priced, the portions are good, and there is a fantastic ambiance. Chamberlain’s Steak and Chop House is situated on Belt Line Road and is open from 5 pm until late daily.

1. Town Hearth

Town Hearth is a contemporary take on the traditional steakhouse and the food is prepared by Dallas chef Nick Badovinus. The main feature of the menu is, of course, steaks and there are plenty of options available.

However, they also serve a good selection of other dishes for those in your party that are not big steak enthusiasts. One aspect of this restaurant that makes it stand out from its competitor is that they have a raw bar, so the focus is not just on flame-grilled options like other steakhouses.

In addition to the outstanding food, you can also enjoy one of their classic cocktails or a glass of wine with your meal. Town Hearth is on Market Center Boulevard. It is closed on Sundays but is open from five until late every other day.
