It's located less than 10 miles from Cherry Capital Airport and about 11 miles from Grand Traverse Mall, plus there's a wealth of activities available on site. One of the most unique offerings that the resort has is a water trampoline, and guests can also go jet skiing, kayaking, or paddle boating at the lake. Ristorante del Lago is an elegant restaurant that offers classic Italian cuisine in addition to a European style breakfast spread, and guests who want to enjoy an evening of upscale fine dining can head to the Penrose Room. It offers mountain views, beautifully presented meals, and a menu of fresh and local dishes.

For accommodation, ranch stays, four story brownstones, cottages, and hotel style suites are available. The Estate House is a 12,000 square foot mansion at the Broadmoor that can be reserved as a whole, and those who want to stay closer to nature can book one of the resort's wilderness properties including a fishing camp, ranch, and the Cloud Camp.
