You will earn reward points on this card whenever you make a purchase. The amount of rewards that you will receive will depend on the type of purchase that you make. You will earn 3 points for every dollar that you spend on purchases from the AAA and certain other travel expenses. 2 points will be awarded for every dollar that is spent somewhere that the Bank Of America considers to be a grocery store, gas station or drugstore. Every other purchase that you make will earn you 1 point per dollar. There are not many purchases that you could make on this card that would not earn you a reward.

No Limit On The Rewards That Can Be Earned

There is no upper limit to the rewards that you can receive which is good if you use your credit card to make a lot of your everyday purchases. On the other end of the scale, there is no minimum amount that the card needs to be used so is also suitable if you will only use it occasionally. You can choose to receive the rewards that you earn as cashback which will be applied to your credit card account as a credit. You can also redeem them for purchases that you make from AAA.

Boost Your Rewards With AAA Purchases

If you want to use your rewards to make a purchase from AAA then these rewards can be boosted. AAA purchases will always be worth more than cashback. You can get up to 40% more value from AAA purchases when compared to cashback but the actual rate will depend on how many points are redeemed.

No Annual Fee

There is no annual fee for using an AAA credit card which is unusual for a card that offers this level of rewards. This makes using this card even better value for money when you consider that you can get unlimited rewards for no fee.

No Foreign Transaction Fees

If you travel abroad a lot then you may be interested to see that there you will not be charged any fees for using your card while you are in another country. These savings can soon start to add up if you spend a lot of your time traveling for business or leisure.

Competitive APR

The actual APR that you will be charged will depend on your creditworthiness. You will be charged an APR that is between 14.9% and 24.9% for purchases which are some of the most competitive rates on the market. The rates will be different for cash advances and balance transfers once the promotional period has ended. You will be given a full breakdown of all the interest rates that you will be charged when you have been accepted for the card and received all of the paperwork.

0% Balance Transfer For 12 Months

You will not be charged interest on any balance transfer that you make for the first twelve months that you have the card. You may be charged a percentage of the amount that you wish to transfer. However, if you have other credit cards that are charging a higher APR then you will still be saving money due to the fact that you will have no interest to pay.

You can apply for this credit card if you are not a member of the AAA and you will still receive most of these benefits. However, you will lose out on the opportunity to earn points at the highest rate, although you will still get this on some travel expenses. If you are a member of the AAA already then this card can potentially save you a lot of money on your membership as well as earning you more points for any services that you do use.

Many people choose to use this type of card for their everyday spending and then pay the bill in full every month in order to make the most of the rewards that this card offers.
