The Amazing Car Collection of Justin Bieber
When Bruce Springsteen sang “Pink Cadillac,” he made referrals to his love being bigger than a Subaru and a Honda. The reference is enough to prove that cars have a way of improving someone’s status and maybe even winning love. It is, therefore, no wonder that when Justin Bieber wanted to impress his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez, he did not mind spending $160,000 on a customized Range Rover. Well, Gomez may have left him, but his incredible car collection that he has amassed over the years remains. The singer even famously lost a Ferrari 458 parked at the Montage Hotel Beverly Hills after drinking so much that he forgot where he had parked. It took him three weeks to finally locate it, but even if it had gotten lost completely, he still had so many vehicles sitting in his garage. Here are some of Justin Bieber’s cars.
1. Range Rover
Usher mentored Bieber. In one interview by Sirius XM, the “You Got It Bad” singer said that he viewed Bieber as his child. He added that he had accepted the “Sorry” hitmaker for his own because no one is perfect. Therefore, when Bieber turned 16, Usher was more than willing to invest in a Range Rover for the teenager. It was such an unexpected present; as Bieber celebrated his birthday in Los Angeles by throwing a party for his friends, they went to Toronto to mark the day with his family. Usher unveiled the car, and Bieber excitedly said that he could finally drive.
2. Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
Barely three months passed before Bieber added another car to his collection. P. Diddy had given the singer a Bad Boy jacket for his 16th birthday. However, Diddy had already promised then-teenage pop sensation his Lamborghini once Bieber was old enough to drive. Bieber took driving lessons and was ready to be behind the wheel, but Diddy did not immediately keep the promise. So when Bieber interviewed with People, he disclosed that he knew Diddy was joking, but he was surprised when in July 2010, the older musician kept his word and handed him the keys to a white Lamborghini. They both took it for a spin with Diddy in the passenger seat as if confirming that his gift would be in good hands.
3. Fisker Karma
You would think that Usher would have been content with gifting Bieber his first car, but it appears that the mentor has quite a big heart and a soft spot for the younger musician. In 2012 as Bieber celebrated his 18th birthday, Usher helped him mark the day with another car. According to Yahoo! Entertainment, Bieber’s manager Scott Braun kept warning his client against buying flashy gifts, and Bieber had been spending his money on donations for Make a Wish Foundation. His good deeds were rewarded with a black Fisker Karma that cost Braun and Usher over $100,000. Ellen DeGeneres topped the gift with a sunshade.
4. Lamborghini Aventadors
Well, Bieber’s love for Lamborghini Aventador is evident given the many he owns. After receiving the hybrid vehicle as a gift, Bieber bought a white Lamborghini Aventador, which some media outlets called a sign of identity crisis because it suggested he thought of himself as a black rapper. The vehicle has a full carbon fiber body, and it showed that he was no longer afraid of being flashy. In 2018, he added a blue Lamborghini Aventador to his collection. One video showed him struggling to drive out of a parking lot despite having taken driving lessons and passed. Whether it was a lack of skills or just being careful not to scratch his prized possession, the singer took ample time trying to reverse the car. That was in March 2018; in July 2018, Bieber bought a red Lamborghini Aventador and had it delivered to Montage Resort, Laguna Beach, where he was staying. It cost him at least $500,000, and you could tell how proud he was of the new toy by the pictures and video he posted on social media, captioning it “baby girl.”
5. Rolls-Royce
It’s rare to see a car move a man to tears, yet when Bieber saw his Rolls-Royce for the first time, he could not help but cry. According to Metro, three years ago, the singer sent Ryan Friedlinghaus, CEO of West Coast Customs, a picture of a Rolls-Royce design. Unfortunately, the Rolls–Royce 103X was just a concept and was not even for sale, but Bieber had fallen in love with it and wanted it. Therefore West Coast Customs overhauled a Wraith to make it look like the 103X. It took them three years to turn it into a reality, and he now owns a customized Rolls-Royce, which cost him $330,000.
6. Audi R8
In 2014, CarThrottle ridiculed the singer’s decision to have his Audi R8 customized to spot a leopard print. Bieber was seen driving the vehicle on his way from Miley Cyrus’ house, and the print was so annoying that the article said as much as the musician has money, he could not buy class. It was pretty harsh given that Bieber had gone to the trouble of asking West Coast Customs to change the original look.
7. Batmobile Cadillac
At 17 years old, Bieber already had a taste for the good things in life, so he got his Cadillac CTS-V coupe turned into a Batmobile Cadillac. West Coast Customs was up for the challenge, and they had the vehicle painted with matte-black finish and installed suicide doors that only open at the press of a “JB” badge. He must have been excited to have the ride because he was caught driving around and not paying attention to the road regulations. Bieber was let off with a warning after making a dangerous turn at an intersection and cutting off a highway patrol officer.
