20 Things You Didn't Know about Cyberpion

Cyber Security

Are you familiar with a company called Cyberpion? If you haven't heard of the company yet, then it probably won't be very long until you do. That's largely because they work tirelessly to help other companies make sure that their websites are not subject to cyber threats. Obviously, that's something that everybody has to worry about these days. That's precisely why it's so important when you find a company that can help with these types of things in an effective manner. Otherwise, you're leaving yourself exposed and taking a massive chance that nothing bad is going to happen. If it does, you run the risk of losing your information, your integrity and putting the personal information of your clients out there to be compromised. That automatically makes this one of the most interesting companies in business. If you're interested in learning more about them, here are 20 things about the company that you might not have previously known.

1. They protect everything that’s digital

Granted, the company protects information that is on a business's website, but they actually do much more than that. As a matter of fact, they also protect every bit of digital information that a particular company holds. That means providing effective protection across the board for all digital information that's stored. That includes the names and personal information of clients, financial information and everything in between.

2. They start by carefully examining your files

The company always starts by taking a careful look at all of your files in order to see where the biggest vulnerabilities exist. One of the things that surprises a lot of people is that their files are typically a lot more vulnerable then they might have initially believed, even those who are quite vigilant about making sure that they do everything they can to protect both their brand and the information of their clients.

3. They can help you see vulnerabilities you didn’t even know you had

One of their strong suits is if they have the capability to clearly see vulnerabilities that most people are completely unaware of. Cybercriminals tend to head for the weakest spots possible and in doing so, they often attack areas that most people would never even dream of someone attacking. This company changes things by tipping the scales in your favor because they make it much more difficult for cybercriminals to get access to something that they shouldn't have access to in the first place.

4. They look at third-party sources as well

One of the areas that they look at involves third-party sources. You may think that your company has a digital system that is just about as secure as any system out there, and maybe it is. However, all of the third-party vendors that you work with may not have systems that are nearly as secure. This can introduce issues into your system, simply by being associated with someone who doesn't ensure that their systems are as airtight as your own.

5. They tend to focus on the most critical things first

The company always puts their focus on the most critical issues first and then works their way out to the issues that aren't as timely. By handling things in this manner, it's possible to deal with the biggest vulnerabilities right off the bat and then deal with things that aren't as likely to cause a major issue once the bigger problems have been successfully addressed.

6. Their system works to actively protect against future vulnerabilities

They also have an adaptive system that works to protect against future vulnerabilities by both beefing up your system and policing it. The idea is to make sure that you don't currently have any issues that are plaguing your system and that you won't have any issues in the future.

7. They have a team of experts waiting to help you

They have a wide team of experts who are all willing and waiting to help you. If you have any types of questions about anything regarding digital security, these are the individuals that you need to ask. All of them have a great deal of training and expertise in the matter. When you put them all together, it's hard to find a team that knows more about cybersecurity than this group.

8. Virtually everyone who works there is a cybersecurity expert

As a matter of fact, almost every person that works there is an expert in some issue related to cybersecurity. All of them have their own specialties, and that is what makes the team as diverse as it is. That being said, everyone there knows how to neutralize digital threats better than just about anyone else on the planet.

9. They offer support around the clock

In addition, the company offers support around the clock. They realize that things don’t always happen during regular business hours, nor do they only occur Monday through Friday. As a matter of fact, the team is well aware that most cyber attacks happen in the middle of the night or on a holiday that creates a long weekend. As a result, they provide support around the clock so that help is there when you need it.

10. They’re happy to walk you through any questions you might have

They also realize that everyone isn't as familiar with cybersecurity as they are. As a matter of fact, everyone isn't as technologically savvy as they are. As a result, they are more than happy to sit down and walk you through any questions that you might have. For them, all of this is second nature but for someone who doesn't spend their entire life around computers, the entire process can be quite confusing until they explain it in great detail.

11. They work with a small team

As previously mentioned, virtually every person that works there is an expert. That being said, they keep their team relatively small, with a team that is composed of less than 50 individuals. You might think that they need more people to successfully pull off everything that they do, but they believe that it's better to hire high-quality individuals who know what they're doing and have a passion for doing it as opposed to simply hiring more people.

12. They’re based in Tel-Aviv

The company is currently based in Tel Aviv. A lot of people don't necessarily realize that the company is based there when they start doing business with them. Oddly enough, the company has even had some issues about people wanting to pull out of doing business with them when they find out where they're located because they inadvertently believe that a lot of cybersecurity attacks come from that particular region. The good news is that once they do business with the company for a short time, they typically realize just how valuable their help really is and they stop worrying about things such as where the company is based.

13. They’ve just completed their first round of fundraising

At the moment, the company has only recently completed their first round of fundraising. It's somewhat unusual to see a company that is still in such an early round of fundraising that has also accomplished so much in a practical sense, but that is precisely what you have here.

14. They’ve received just over $35 million in funding

To be more exact, the company has so far received $35.3 million in funding. There's no doubt that through the next three rounds of fundraising, this is going to increase exponentially. At the moment, a lot of people find themselves somewhat surprised that anyone was able to raise so much money in a single round of fundraising. A lot of that goes on to prove just how much everybody genuinely believes in what this company is capable of doing, not to mention how they go about achieving it.

15. All of that money comes from just a few investors

You might be equally surprised to learn that all of their money comes from only three investors. There's no doubt that they will have more investors as time goes on. While only three is a relatively small amount, it's not really that uncommon to have only few investors interested during the first couple rounds of fundraising. Clearly, having only a few investors hasn't stopped them from raising the money that they needed and it's highly doubtful that it will preclude them from doing so in the future.

16. They’re constantly updating their system

It probably won't come as any surprise, but the company is constantly updating their system in order to keep things relevant. Otherwise, it would be virtually impossible for them to do their job adequately. The thing that makes it challenging is that cybercriminals are constantly changing their approach. In addition, the technology that's used in this type of thing is constantly advancing. As a matter of fact, it changes so quickly that something that was completely relevant just six months ago may be totally outdated today. That can make it difficult for everyone involved to stay abreast of what's going on. Since that is their main focus, this company works tirelessly to do exactly that.

17. They’re learned to think like cybercriminals

It might surprise you to learn that a lot of the individuals who work for the company have had to learn to think like cybercriminals in order to figure out what someone might try next. It sounds weird the first time you hear someone say that, but it's one of the most effective ways to make sure that someone doesn't find a loophole in the smallest possible area and then use that as a way to get their foot in the door so they can do massive damage to your data. It’s definitely not the easiest thing in the world to do, but it is something that a lot of cybersecurity experts are trained in. They have to learn how to think ahead so they can anticipate what the next person is likely to do. From there, they work in order to find a way to stop it from happening.

18. They stay up nights looking for issues so you don’t have to

It probably won't surprise you to know that they have a tendency to stay up at all hours of the day looking for these issues so you don't have to worry about them. It simply wouldn't be effective to expect someone who doesn't have any training in this type of industry to know what to look for, nor would it make sense to expect any business owner that doesn't specialize in cyber security to know what types of issues they should see coming in order to ward off a potential attack. That's why these people are experts at what they do. As a result, they end up spending a lot of time looking for potential solutions to problems that haven't even happened yet as a means of making sure that they don't happen at all. Otherwise, they would constantly be playing catch-up and that would put your data at risk.

19. They routinely provide webinars free of charge

The individuals at the company want others to be as educated as possible when it comes to cybersecurity. As a result, they routinely provide webinars that don't cost anything to attend in hopes of teaching people more about this very important issue. The idea is to make sure that every individual has as much education about the issue as possible. While that will never approach the level of an expert, it is important that everyone take control of this issue and educate themselves within reason.

20. They’re currently hiring

It probably won't surprise you to learn that the company is currently hiring. As a matter of fact, they expect this year to be one of their biggest years and they're looking to add more people to their team in order to handle the workload. It's a great opportunity for anyone who has the training and the desire to work in this particular industry.
