Jonas Prising is the current CEO and Chairman of ManpowerGroup. 1. Jonas Means Dove

Moreover, he believes that anti-globalist populists are exploiting very real fears for personal benefit without offering real solutions.

Furthermore, Prising has stated that he regrets that he and other people in similar positions spent so much time promoting the benefits of globalism without paying attention to the people who were being left behind. As far as he is concerned, they should have done more to help said individuals prepare to make a successful transition as well.
7. Sympathizes with Outright at Executive Over-Compensation
On a related note, Prising has stated that he sympathizes with the outright at the difference in compensation for executives and most employees. In fact, he has outright stated that businesses have an outright “moral obligation” to tackle said problem. However, it is difficult to say how sincere he is about this particular belief, seeing as how he has also expressed sentiments that focusing on executive over-compensation won’t do too much to affect the gap in compensation.
8. Believes that People Shouldn’t Be Too Concerned about Automation
In recent times, a wide range of people in a wide range of countries have been concerned about the increasing capabilities of machines, which promise to usher in a second wave of mass automation that will result in extensive loss of jobs. Prising isn’t too concerned about this happening because his corporation’s statistics suggest that most businesses are planning to either maintain or even add to their human work-forces.
9. That Doesn’t Mean He Is Complacent About It
With that said, that doesn’t mean that Prising is complacent about the issue. Instead, he believes that it is important to focus on getting people ready to make the transition to the post-automation job environment, which should make it clear that he does recognize potential issues.
10. Considered Becoming a Doctor
It is amusing to note that Prising considered becoming a doctor at one point in time. However, that plan fell through because he wasn’t good enough at either mathematics or the sciences to study medicine, which is why he went on to study at the Stockholm School of Economics instead.
