His parents were actually quite famous in their own right. His dad is Tom Harmon. Tom was a Heisman Trophy football player in college. He went on to be a successful sports broadcaster. His wife is known as Elyse Knox, who is a famous actress and model. Even Mark Harmon’s two sisters have proven to be quite successful. Kristin Nelson has passed away, but she was an actress. While they did divorce, she was married at one point to Rick Nelson, a famous rock singer. His other sister, Kelly Harmon, is also an actress and model.
