The Five Most Expensive Vape Mods on the Market Today

Smoking has always been something of a status symbol. Although it isn’t popular today, there is a time when people were considered somewhat odd if they didn’t smoke. At that time, it was definitely a status symbol and it was something that was also considered a rite of passage. In order to become a bona fide adult, you practically had to smoke.

In today’s world, smoking is known to be extremely unhealthy and that has also made it unpopular. However, once a person gets addicted to smoking, it’s one of the more difficult things to stop doing. As a direct result, people started vaping as a replacement for their smoking habit. This is now becoming just as much a status symbol as smoking regular cigarettes once was. If you don’t believe that, consider the five most expensive vape mods that have ever been produced. There is no doubt that the cost of these vape mods will knock your socks off. In reality, some of these cost more than certain homes and they certainly cost more than your automobile.

5. Gepetto Elite V2 Vape Mod – $2,500

Just like the vape mods listed above, these are also handmade. That’s what causes the price to be more than $2,000. In almost every case, they’re made out of some type of unique and hard-to-find wood. This is also the first company that really worked with mass producing customized vape mods, so it’s safe to say that they’ve been doing it longer than anyone else on the market.

4. Otto Carter Vape Mod – $3,000

The reason these vape mods cost so much is because they’re considered to be more like a piece of art than a vape mod. They’re made by Carter himself, an engraver of firearms. His work is absolutely breathtaking and he frequently works with precious metals. There is no doubt about it, if you want something made by him, you will have to fork over the cash in order to get it. Even his most economical examples sell for over $1,000. With that being said, every piece is customized and since he does everything by hand, there are no two pieces alike, regardless of how many pieces are ordered at a time. If you want a vape mod that is personalized in a very special way, this might be the perfect way to do it.

3. Top Hat Mods Vape Mod – $10,000

This one has most people scratching their heads. The company makes several vape mods and most of them are more than reasonable. In fact, a lot of the mods made by the company start at a modest $50 and work their way up from there. This particular example really doesn’t do anything that the $50 models don’t do. The only difference is that it has a rather unique wooden design that resembles a dark colored piece of driftwood in a plastic box. For whatever reason, the people at the company decided that this deemed a price tag of $10,000. Perhaps the more perplexing thing is that there are people that are paying this much in order to get it.

2. Magic Valley Vapors SX350J Dual Mod 18650 – $109,000

They say that 3D printers can print virtually anything and this proves it. It’s true, this vape mod was actually made with a 3D printer. As you can see, that certainly doesn’t bring the price down any. While this one might seem cheap compared to the vape mod that came in at number one, it still costs more money than a lot of people spend on the place in which they choose to live. If the original idea was to use 3D printing in order to make things more affordable, that got lost on this particular subject somehow.

1. Sofia from Shisha Sticks – $887,000

If you think you read that number wrong, you didn’t. Although it’s unbelievable to think that anyone would spend this much money on a vape mod, it did happen. While this particular vape mod is not in production for the general public, it was built as a commissioned piece that was custom made for a man’s girlfriend. It features more than 200 diamonds along with other precious stones. While it’s definitely hard to believe that anyone would ever spend this much money on a vape mod, you never know what people with a lot of money are going to do.
