10. NFL Extra Points Credit Card

For NFL supporters, the NFL Extra Points Credit Card offers a handy 2x bonus points on NFL and team purchases and 1x bonus points on all other purchases. The bonus points can then be redeemed for statement credits, NFL gift cards, Super Bowl tickets, and exclusive NFL and team experiences. As an added incentive, you’ll also qualify for a 20% discount when you use your card to make purchases at NFLShop.com.

9. American Express Cash Magnet Card

As the official NBA credit card, you’ll unlock some serious goodies when you get an American Express Card. Opt for the American Express Cash Magnet Card, and you’ll get 1.5 percent cash back on all purchases, 15 months of 0 APR on all purchases from account opening, and exclusive access to sporting events.

8. PGA TOUR Cash Rewards World Mastercard

If you’re crazy about golf, the PGA TOUR Cash Rewards World Mastercard credit card from Bank of America is the card for you. Providing you spend at least $95 in the first 90 days of account opening, you’ll qualify for 2 tickets to the PGA TOUR event of your choice. As lendingtree.com notes, you and up to three guests will also benefit from premier access to participating resorts, daily fee, and private Tournament Players Club golf courses, along with a 20% discount on merchandise at TPC Shops. If all that wasn’t enough to tempt you, the rewards scheme might – earn 2% at grocery stores and wholesale clubs and 3% on gas on the first $2,500 you spend per quarter, and an unlimited 1% cash back on all other purchases.

7. Capital One SavorOne Cash Rewards Credit Card

If you’re looking for an all-purpose card with a broad range of sporting and entertainment rewards, look no further than the Capital One SavorOne Cash Rewards Credit Card. 6. The Platinum Card from American Express

Named as the best credit card for basketball fans by NerdWallet, The Platinum Card from American Express comes with a clutch of in-built perks for NBA fanatics. For a start, you’ll qualify for jersey assurance for a year after purchase – if your player switches teams and you used your card to buy the jersey from the NBA store, you can replace it for free. You’ll also get access to the Centurion Suite at Staples Center in Los Angeles, access to American Express Fan Central in New York, and 15% off select concessions and tickets for Brooklyn Nets games.

5. Ink Business Cash Credit Card

Recommended as one of the best credit cards for sports fans by The Points Guy, the Ink Business Cash Credit Card comes with a generous sign-up cash back of $750 if you spend $7,500 on purchases in the first three months of account opening. The rewards scheme is where things get really interesting though – earn 5% cash back on the first $25,000 you spend at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services and 2% cash back on the first $25,000 you spend at gas stations and restaurants. As office supply stores like OfficeMax, Office Depot and Staples sell gift cards from StubHub (which can then be used to buy your sporting event tickets), you could end up getting a very decent discount on each game you attend.

4. Capital One Quick Silver

If you’re an NCAA supporter, the Capital One Quick Silver is a solid option. Capital One and the NCAA have been in partnership for over a decade, with the result that all Capital One cardholders can expect some nice little perks with their card. 3. Citi Custom Cash Card

If you prefer to be the one doing the sport than the one watching it, the Citi Custom Cash Card is the card for you. If your highest spending category is fitness clubs and purchases at athletic and sports facilities, you can essentially get a 5 percent discount on your gym membership fee.

2. NHL Discover it

Even if you’re not a National Hockey League fan, the NHL Discover It’s range of perks (no annual fee, 5% cash back on everyday purchases at selected places and 1% cash back at all other places, a dollar-for-dollar match of all the cash back you’ve earned at the end of your first year, and a low intro APR) are attractive. But for hockey fans, the additional benefit of customizing the card with your team logo and getting a 10% discount for purchases made at Shop.NHL.com and NHL.TV is the real deal-breaker.

1. MLB Cash Rewards Mastercard from Bank of America

If you’re a Major League Baseball fanatic, you might want to consider the MLB Cash Rewards Mastercard from Bank of America.
