Among their most desired models is the Aventador. The brand rolled the first iteration of this supercar off of the lines in 2012. it’s only been around for seven years, but in that time, the Aventador has undergone some serious changes and Lambo has introduced several variants, some more popular than others, but all living up to the stellar reputation. The very first Lamborghini Aventador model was released in 2012. Two years later, the 2014 Aventador became a highly sought after vehicle. It kept the carbon fiber construction, but was offered in your choice of a hardtop coupe or a convertible roadster model. This vehicle was equipped with a powerful 6.5 liter V12 engine which cranked an amazing 691 horsepower with plenty of torque to the Gen 4 AWD system. Testing revealed that this model screamed from a stop to 62 miles per hour in a mere 2.9 seconds. Each of the models were packed with features such as heated outer mirrors, keyless entry, automatic climate control and more.

This model was among the first to be produced ever and it came on the scene much like a ranging bull with speed, strength and aggression. There were some changes to the standard Aventador including a redesign of the measurements in length, height and width to enhance the aerodynamics. This edition also received some work under the hood and was the first to feature the 6. liter V12 engine which generated 690 horsepower and 508 lb ft of torque. The design was eye catching with bi-xenon headlights and an electronically controlled spoiler which was movable as an innovative method for improving traction and handling. This supercar achieved a top speed of 217 mph.

The LP 740-4 SuperVeloce made its debut in 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show. Carbon fiber was used on the interior and exterior components to further lighten the weight from that of its predecessors. Revisions to the rear diffuser and front splitter enhanced the aerodynamics of the Aventador coupe an a fixed rear wing was added. The acceleration was improved to move from zero to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds which is a one second gain and the top speed still hanging in there at 217 mph. This was a limited edition model with only 600 examples ever made and it was offered at a price of $493,069 before tax and license. The Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce limited edition was produced from 2015 though the summer of 2017 before being discontinued, enhancing its rarity.The 2015 variant shows a definite progression in the evolution of the Aventador lineup.

The world caught its first glimpse of the Aventador LP770-4 SVJ at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. The SVJ stands for Super Velce Jota and this version of the Aventador is based upon the S model with teh intention of going one better over the SV edition. Every effort was made to lighten this edition through the use of titanium and carbon fiber materials throughout to achieve a more ideal power to weight ratio. The engine is a 6.5 liter L549 V12 with a total output of 759 horsepower and 531 ft lbs of torque. The SVJ’s acceleration is comparable to the LP 750-4 SuperVeloce hanging on to that one second increase in speed and the same top speed of 217 mph. A new feature of this Lambo model is the Aerodynamica Lamborghini Attiva Systm (ALA), the brand’s own in house version which delivers a forty percent increase in downforce over the SV model. There were a lot of new tweaks and innovations made to the Aventador SVJ. To celebrate the anniversary of the 1963 Founders date, a special edition of the SVJ was produced called the “63 Edition” as a special limited edition variation with just 63 units ever made. This brings the total number of Aventador SVJ models to 963 and the deliveries of these new supercars started taking place early in 2019. This was one of the brand’s most highly anticipated models.

The Lamborghini Aventador J, which stands for Jota, from a previous Lamborghini Miura Jota model. was revealed at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and it came just a half year after the Aventador was introduced to the world. The design team was already at work with the first years’ models to decrease the weight of the vehicle and they dispensed with luxuries such as a stereo system and air conditioning. it shared the same transmission and clutch with the Aventador coupe model along with the same 12 engine. This was a concept car that would become one of the rarest cars in the world. No other examples of the Aventador J were ever made, creating a high value for the sole collector who was privileged to made the purchase of $2.8 million. Special features of the Aventador J concept car includes the absence of windows and a roof. The Aventador J is a model that is called a “one off” which means that only one of its kind will ever be produced.
