The Finest Yacht Designs by Laura Sessa Romboli

Laura Sessa Romboli is a well-known award-winning Italian interior designer for some of the world's largest and most expensive luxury yachts. She has become quite famous for designing yachts like Madame Kate and Chopi Chopi, as well as for designing the plush interiors of numerous other yachts, many of which are busy charter yachts.

At the Monaco Yacht Show’s 25th year inaugural gala, the luxury yacht industry’s who’s who attended to acknowledge and celebrate achievements in designing and building superyachts. Five yachts were recognized at the event, one of which was Madame Kate, which is a 61m (199 foot) Amels motor yacht with interior design by Laura Sessa Romboli.

The Madame Kate was, in fact, the only yacht to win multiple awards at the event, which had five categories that included the Finest New Yacht of the 2015 MYS, the Monaco Award, the Exterior Design Award, and the Interior Design Award, as well as The MYS/RINA Award for recognition of the implementation of technology that is eco-friendly. There was a judging panel comprised of consummate experts that represented every sector of the yachting industry and there were 20 applicants. The Madame Kate received recognition via two awards, the Interior Design Award for Laura Sessa Romboli's designs, and the MYS/RINA Award.

Chopi Chopi/ For Sale - $107 million

Chopi Chopi Yacht

As the biggest yacht ever built by CRN Shipyard, this 80-meter yacht was the center of a recent major Ancona, Italy launch in front of a huge audience. This yacht, which boasts a beautiful interior design from Laura Sessa Romboli, took 660,000 working hours to be built. Ms. Romboli really outdid herself with the gorgeous interior for this mega yacht.

With amazing attention to detail, this massive yacht with five decks offers yacht connoisseurs worldwide the opportunity to own one of the finest yachts in the world available today. It sleeps 12 guests plus it accommodates 30 crew and staff. In addition, it includes massage and fitness rooms, a spa, a sauna, and even a helipad.

Built in 2008, she has six amazingly luxurious cabins for accommodating 12 lucky guests. Her sleek and stylish exterior was designed by Tim Heywood and it features three spacious decks.

With an overall length of 171 feet 7 inches, she’s 153 feet 10 inches on the waterline. Her fuel capacity is 30,380 gallons and she can hold 4,491 gallons of fresh water. She is powered by two MTU 16V2000M70 diesel engines.

Built in 2012, the 4You features spaces that are of a generous size both above and below decks to accommodate the ultimate in relaxation and socializing. Astra Charter Yacht

This is another beautiful yacht that was designed by Tim Heywood with an elegant but comfortable interior designed by Laura Sessa Romboli. She features a full sundeck bar complete with a big screen television, Teppanyaki grill, beach club, hydraulic swim stairs, onboard masseuse, and steam room. She was commissioned in 2014 and offers the ultimate in Dutch-built comfort, seaworthiness, and strength.

With five guest rooms, which includes the well-appointed master suite, Astra sleeps 10 guests in ultimate comfort. And, for the ultimate in convenience and luxury as well, she also accommodates 13 crew members.
